[00:00:04] Speaker A: Welcome, friends and adventurers to another episode of Dungeons and Blaggards. I am your dungeon master, Robulon. Joining me in no particular order are the players. Tomo! [00:00:17] Speaker B: I am playing Steve Tehuman, Level 5 Gloomstalker Ranger Fighter, Level 2, Rogue, Level 1. I have an owl. Brandon! [00:00:29] Speaker C: I am Ekurook Punschlaye, Level 8 Blood Hunter, half orc. And I have breast enhancements. Braeden! [00:00:40] Speaker D: Hey, I'm Braeden. I play Beleg Degar, half elf, Hexblade warlock, level eight. Eric! [00:00:48] Speaker E: I'm Eric. I play Dr. Zozo Brightfeather, a level eight Arakocra artificer. [00:00:54] Speaker A: And last but not least, Caleb! [00:00:59] Speaker F: Domo Arigato... I am the construct, Kaitoa Tata. I am a level 8 warforged barbarian. [00:01:14] Speaker A: Previously on Dungeons and Blaggards. The party exits from the secret tunnel beneath the city's inner walls. They follow along to the merchant and north docks where they witness the carnage that the birds have brought upon the citizenry. As Zozo confers with the parents of two deceased children and in fact performs an apparent miracle in returning one from beyond the dead. Rook and Kaitoa spy a familiar half Orcish ferryman, and Beleg investigates a Noble's sailing yacht. Just as they depart with not one but two vessels, they bid farewell, to a running - a very cinematic farewell, but meaningless in terms of the exchange of information - with Dante. Then... a montage. They engage in a conflagration between two warring vessels. They engage in a great little fishing competition. And then a polar bear, a skinning exercise. You lose sight of the lights of Zirpnil. The island of Zirpnil. There it is, the last port of call. And without stopping in the party heads towards the maw. You know this first place where you can essentially dock amongst the rocky cliffs of the island of Tonwin. And then there's Kozzem. But you're only 100 miles from the Maw. And as Beleg returns to the wheel, Steve relays the message in turn that he has received from Dr. Zozo "beneath us!" "Evasive maneuvers!" Just then, the Noble's yacht is flung from the sea and is momentarily airborne. Kaitoa, at the top of the order, your ship is taking on water from the hull, but you are still sailing and surging along. And you now see the AuBoatGene launch up about 15 to 20ft in the air. And it is mid air. You're up. [00:03:41] Speaker E: How many crew were on this Orcish. [00:03:43] Speaker A: Boat, you flagon rookie, an old foot strapped to his back. [00:03:50] Speaker E: And I'm in the crow's Nest right now, right? [00:03:53] Speaker A: Correct. [00:03:54] Speaker E: Tied off. [00:03:56] Speaker B: Correct. [00:03:56] Speaker A: This boat has two masts and you're in the rearmost mast which has a crow's nest. I'd say about 35ft up. So you have a great view and you have still a loaded crossbow bolt. Yeah, I know. Gonna let it rip. [00:04:13] Speaker E: Is definitely not moving anywhere right now. [00:04:17] Speaker A: Okay. And if we are on Rule 20. I just went to that. Now you do see Kaitoa now a target. [00:04:28] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:04:29] Speaker A: Okay. It is dark. That is the moon and starlight of the two moons rising over Beheru and they are momentarily between the clouds because of course there is this strange thunderstorm and lightning storm that is coming in from the east and from the west smashing against both boats and Katawa. As you look behind the Obote Jin, you see the bubbling rice pot of the sub wave hunger of Hadar. And you also see a tentacle. It is just within your 60 foot range. Well within crossbow range I should say. [00:05:19] Speaker E: Wow, that looks stunning. Well done. Robin. On the backdrop. [00:05:25] Speaker A: That is the moon dynamic lighting and that is your hard whatever it is. That is your hard $2 a month for the dynamic lighting at work. So Kaitoa. Yes. What I was describing was just as you look in the wake of Auboatgene and see the bubbling sub wave hunger of Adar, you also see a gigantic tentacle. This is the one that has flung the much larger purple sailed Noble's yacht. [00:05:59] Speaker E: So there's no like center eye the Kraken. There's no like. It's just tentacles we can see right now. Right. [00:06:08] Speaker A: You could use the bonus part of your move or your minor kind of interaction to roll to see if you can see more of the Kraken. [00:06:17] Speaker E: I don't have Darkvision so I'm not even going to try and do that. Yeah, I'm going to shoot as low on this test like tentacle testicle coming out of the water as possible. [00:06:30] Speaker A: Okay. Roll on ac. Sorry, I'm not sure how to help with that yet. [00:06:40] Speaker E: Hey Google, roll a D20 Alexa roll on initiative. [00:06:48] Speaker D: Google just got the plug pulled. [00:06:54] Speaker E: 17. [00:06:55] Speaker A: 17 hits roll damage. [00:06:58] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:06:58] Speaker A: So D10 plus 2. [00:07:03] Speaker E: It's a 10. Hey. [00:07:15] Speaker A: Yeah. You hear a terrifying squeal, Kaitoa. [00:07:19] Speaker E: Yeah, it's not really enough, so. Oh geez. What do I want to do now? The ship's going down. [00:07:32] Speaker A: And there is another thunder clap. You see a lightning bolt, Kaitoa, and can almost feel that's gonna hit at any moment. [00:07:45] Speaker D: I was waiting for you to say another Kraken. [00:07:50] Speaker B: No. Double crack. [00:07:53] Speaker E: Can I Cut my rope from the. The crow's nest for my bonus action. [00:08:00] Speaker A: You could unleash yourself. Yeah, for sure. Yeah. [00:08:03] Speaker E: And then, yeah, I'm going to pull the Kris bomb off my back and ready it in my hand like bear hug it. [00:08:18] Speaker A: Okay. Anything else in your movement? [00:08:22] Speaker E: Well, I think I've used up my actions. Putting a foot on the. On the crow's nest, ready to jump. That's it. [00:08:31] Speaker A: Yeah. What a great segue, Kaitoa. As you put your, you know, you plant your foot, getting ready to launch yourself. You look down at the other old foot on Rook's back. And after scaring away this undersea gigantic creature, I mean, you guys saw Rook put his hand in his temples and all of a sudden he looks like he is reeling on the deck and kind of rolling around along with the ship. And as that huge wave covered the Northreach ferry and splashed over Captain Flagon, there is old foot and he has his longbow there. And he rolled a 16. He hits the cat. And there as well, from the gun whales flies a longbow arrow at the only tentacle that you can see. Now you also see a huge cloud. Darken the moonlight. And guys, it has gotten sort of a little bit darker and harder to see. Dr. Zozo, you are up and you have flown over here to the North Reach ferry. You see now the Auboatgene crash into the sea in the same moment that Kaitoa has taken a shot. And Rook has sort of doubled over on the side of the ferry here the Auboatgene smashes into the water. It clearly has taken some structural damage. [00:10:28] Speaker E: Wow. [00:10:32] Speaker C: I think I want to try and assess the damage to the ferry, see where it's. It's leaking. [00:10:39] Speaker A: Okay. You can roll an investigation if you wanted to actually have a look. You know, it's from below deck. That's where this boat was rocked. Or you can simply roll a, you know, perception. [00:10:51] Speaker C: Yeah, I think I'll go below deck and do investigation on it. [00:10:55] Speaker A: Okay. [00:10:56] Speaker C: See if it's something I might be able to. [00:10:58] Speaker A: Okay. As you swoop down 19d 2019. Okay. Remember how this is sort of an older rotting boat. It seems like a couple of the planks, a very few key planks have ruptured and there's probably call it a gallon or two of water gushing in a second. [00:11:23] Speaker C: How big are the ruptures? [00:11:26] Speaker A: Say about the size of a person's forearm in one case where a board is just blasted and in another couple of cases the boards have just been pushed in by the pressure and there's water kind of blasting out horizontally. [00:11:45] Speaker C: Are any of them smaller than a foot in any direction? Guard in every direction. [00:11:51] Speaker A: All of the smaller ones are. All of the ones that are kind of blasting out are, well, smaller than a foot. But there's one that is like. There's a missing plank. [00:11:59] Speaker C: Okay, I'm gonna to cast mending on. I'm gonna start casting mending on the smaller ones. [00:12:07] Speaker A: Okay. As the boat rocks. Cast mending and let's see what the effect is. [00:12:13] Speaker C: Okay, so it's a cantrip. So I just need to touch it and. [00:12:19] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:12:19] Speaker C: As long as the breaker tear is no larger than a foot in any dimension, you mend it, leaving no trace of the former damage. [00:12:25] Speaker A: Yeah. Yay. Oh, wow. Dr. Zozo, can you describe then, as you sort of hop gingerly over the few bench seats here in this fairy, how you mend essentially three quarters of the damage? [00:12:42] Speaker C: I think she kind of has to push her way through the, like, the kind of fire hose effect and then like sticks a finger basically in the hole, and when she pulls it out, the hole is gone. She does that to you? [00:12:57] Speaker E: Yeah. I love how this has turned into a prostate exam. [00:13:04] Speaker A: And. Okay, well, I love it as. Yeah, it's a fire hose effect. Kind of pushes you back and soaks you. You are freezing cold, Dr. Zozan, because indeed you have stopped the North Sea from rushing in to the ferry, except for this huge part that's about the size of, say, someone's forearm. So large, larger than a foot cannot be mended in that same way. So I'd say you've used only like a quarter of your movement to swipe, swoop down. I'd say you've used. It sounds like mending is just a can trip. So what else in your movement? [00:13:40] Speaker C: I think I'll call up to flagon and tell him we need. We need to. We've still got one leak that needs repairing. [00:13:50] Speaker A: Oh, the flagon. [00:13:54] Speaker C: Okay, you got that? [00:13:58] Speaker A: The rum and the bourbon. The casks. [00:14:04] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:14:05] Speaker C: We better deal with this or we're gonna lose the rum and the bourbon. [00:14:09] Speaker A: Okay, so would you like to roll a particular skill on that? Persuasion or. [00:14:15] Speaker C: Sure, yeah, I'll go with persuasion. [00:14:18] Speaker A: Okay. A charisma based skill. [00:14:22] Speaker C: I rolled an eight. [00:14:24] Speaker A: Okay. Captain Flagon is leaning hard on the tiller, just trying to stay straight in your little convoy here as you surge along. And his eyes are fast fixed on the three casks, but he seems to take very little note of your instructions clearly. [00:14:45] Speaker C: Okay, can I see if there's any. [00:14:50] Speaker A: Is it Taking the half orc below deck. He looks like he's had one too many wobbly pops. [00:14:59] Speaker C: Okay, okay, yeah. I take a look at Rook, see what Flingin was talking about. [00:15:08] Speaker A: Oh, well, he's got a little headache. I'll stand in. And you see the quadriplegic dwarven veteran there, you know, he's got his longbow there hooked around one foot and one arm. And he's drawing another arrow back between, between his teeth. And he kicks Rook down into the, you know, the fairy bench seating area. And Rook, you know, clangs down in his armor into the bottom of the ferry into about 2 inches of water. [00:15:44] Speaker E: Have you guys seen that video of the guy with no arms shooting a. [00:15:48] Speaker A: Bow you have now? [00:15:51] Speaker E: Yeah, it's just like a video of a guy with just his feet shooting a bow. [00:15:56] Speaker C: It's fucking unreal. [00:15:59] Speaker A: Rook with his move there, because Rook's 18. And then Stolas, you're on deck. Steve, you're on deck. Then Beleg, you hear Rook exclaim as his face hits the water. Son of a bitch. [00:16:15] Speaker B: Fucking cork. [00:16:19] Speaker A: And you hear the foul mouthed half orc go, you know, into one of the bench seats there. And again he's holding his head between his hands, but Zozo, you're assured that he's conscious and he's up on the bench seat there. So for better or worse, now you have solved a lot of the problems here on the Northreach ferry. Is there anything else you would do as your move concludes? [00:16:52] Speaker C: I think I'll start looking around for, for any supplies I can use to try and fill up to fix that last hole. [00:17:00] Speaker A: There's ropes, there's a little bit of, say, decking that perhaps could be torn off the top deck. But as you look around Owl doctor, you look across to the Auboatgene and Stolas, you are up. You are a little shocked by that lightning bolt. [00:17:28] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. Stolas is going to do a little, a little flyby of our, of our tentacled friend here. Keep it cool and low though, so as not to get fucking shocked again. [00:17:52] Speaker A: Okay? Stolas takes to the air and again you hear a, you know, thunder clap building and a lightning bolt now strikes about 40ft off of the stern. But for the moment you gotta be. [00:18:10] Speaker D: Careful, Rob, with how you're describing that we're gonna end up owing go Garth Brooks some money. [00:18:18] Speaker A: I thought more live, right? Lightning crashes and Numa Crier. [00:18:32] Speaker E: I haven't heard that song in so long. [00:18:38] Speaker A: Lightning crashes again. Stolas, what are you doing with Your move. [00:18:42] Speaker B: Do a little. A little flyby poop and swoop. [00:18:47] Speaker A: Bringing it out. Okay, there are three hoops of tendrils and writhing tentacles. So there's definitely something for Stolas to strike at. Go for it. [00:18:59] Speaker B: Yeah, Closest. The closest. Swooping and a little pooping. [00:19:05] Speaker D: The idea of a small owl's shit letting the help action on an 80 foot long Kraken. [00:19:14] Speaker B: Just get it right. Get it right in the cracking. [00:19:22] Speaker E: With this one owl. What are you feeding Ms. Owl? [00:19:32] Speaker B: Holy shit. That's a whole lot more there. [00:19:35] Speaker A: And just as Stolas swoops down, indeed, the head of this monstrosity breaks the waves and it is indeed gigantic. [00:19:51] Speaker B: One word. [00:19:54] Speaker A: So Stolas is going to lend the help action to anybody. And now you see not 1, 1, 2, 3. But 10 swirling black brown tentacles between the two ships. Your convoy is absolutely entangled. [00:20:14] Speaker D: Oh, God, the hobo sheen. [00:20:20] Speaker A: Steve, you're up. [00:20:22] Speaker B: All right, now that Stolas has given me the ye old poop and swoop, I'm going to make use of that distraction and shoot arrows into places that hope will hurt the Kraken most. [00:20:38] Speaker A: Okay. And as you do so, Steve, you indeed see that one of those tentacles has wrapped itself around the bow of the North Sea ferry. The North Reach ferry. [00:20:56] Speaker B: All right. [00:20:57] Speaker A: Okay, do your action. [00:21:00] Speaker B: So what I'm gonna do with my bonus action is I'm going to mark the Kraken. [00:21:07] Speaker A: Oh. [00:21:07] Speaker B: With the floopy floop. And then I am going to shoot arrows in its eyes or places that kind of look, since that head is popped above water. Is that. Is that a possibility there? [00:21:25] Speaker A: Yes, certainly. So the eager short bow, that does not have the magic filament that makes it amazing. Oh, you're totally in range. Oh, beautiful shot. 50ft away. [00:21:39] Speaker B: Yeah, I'm gonna do the hurting on it. Okay. I haven't. Is this my first. This would be my first turn in this fight. [00:21:48] Speaker A: Is. [00:21:49] Speaker E: Is. [00:21:49] Speaker B: I can't recall if I. Yeah. If I did anything. So for this attack action, I get an extra attack. So first one going out, 16 hits. 12 plus three. Yeah, 12 plus three for 15, plus 10 for 25. Second attack, 11 plus three. 14 to hit. [00:22:20] Speaker A: 14 hits. [00:22:23] Speaker B: Okay, seven 10 plus 10 for 20 damage. [00:22:29] Speaker A: Okay, so 25 on the first hit, 20 on the second hit. [00:22:33] Speaker B: Third attack for 14 to hit. [00:22:38] Speaker A: Hits. [00:22:40] Speaker B: And that is six plus three, nine plus 10. 19. [00:22:48] Speaker C: Okay. [00:22:50] Speaker B: And then I'm going to action surge. I'm gonna do three more. That's 13 plus 3 to hit for 16. [00:22:58] Speaker A: 16 hits. [00:23:02] Speaker B: 4 plus 37 plus 10 for 17. Oh, misses. Unless I can hit on a 9. Do I hit on a 9? [00:23:15] Speaker E: I'm guessing. [00:23:17] Speaker B: All right, last shot. Last shot sucks. Last two shots go wide. [00:23:26] Speaker A: Oh, they disappear into the black ocean. [00:23:35] Speaker B: That. That is Steve. [00:23:37] Speaker A: Okay. And you have definitely struck a couple of the fleshier parts of the huge head of this Kraken. Kraken belly. You are up, however, at the end of another creature's turn. This creature's got some legendary actions. And Bellak, just as you're about to take your turn and you see, you know, Steve fire off a couple of hits and then a couple of misses, there is a huge crack of lightning. Kaitoa, can you make a. A dexterity saving throw? I got a. I got a dc. You got to beat him. [00:24:26] Speaker E: The deck saving through. [00:24:28] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:24:31] Speaker E: Non natural. 20. [00:24:34] Speaker A: Oh, wow. [00:24:36] Speaker E: 18 plus two. [00:24:37] Speaker A: Oh, no, that's not going to do it. Oh, here comes. Oh.32 lightning damage. I would like to check in on the good doctor. Are you below deck? [00:24:56] Speaker C: Yes, I'm below deck. [00:24:58] Speaker B: Okay, sweet monkey. [00:24:59] Speaker E: 32. Sorry, can we pause for one sec. [00:25:03] Speaker C: Before we rush over? [00:25:05] Speaker E: 32 lightning damage. [00:25:08] Speaker A: Huh? Flagging 30. [00:25:12] Speaker E: Okay, this is it. [00:25:13] Speaker A: Okay, 30. Hold on. Flagging takes 28 lightning damage. [00:25:20] Speaker D: Oh, Flagon. [00:25:24] Speaker A: And Flagon is struck dead at the tiller. [00:25:29] Speaker B: Oh, shit. [00:25:30] Speaker A: One more lightning bolt. One more lightning bolt. Okay. Probably lucky it's you and not Stolas. And Steve, I would like you to take a dexterity saving throw. [00:25:43] Speaker B: Oh, shit. All right, let's do it. Do I have any inspirations? [00:25:56] Speaker D: I don't have any I can give you. [00:25:58] Speaker A: I don't track that in a while. [00:26:03] Speaker B: I. My character sheet says I have two, but I don't know if I necessarily trust that. [00:26:07] Speaker A: I mean, I would say it's probably fair to say you have one if you haven't been tracking it. Well, you say you have two. I know I awarded one in the last like three or four sessions to you, Steve. [00:26:17] Speaker B: I'm gonna make use of it. [00:26:20] Speaker A: You're down to zero. [00:26:22] Speaker B: All right, here we go. Here's the real one. Oh, fuck, that's dope. All right. 18 plus 6. 24. [00:26:30] Speaker A: Oh, so you take half. You take half of 19 damage. [00:26:38] Speaker B: Alrighty. [00:26:40] Speaker A: 9 damage. Yep. Kaitoa, you are struck. Flagon is struck. Steve just sort of gingerfoots out of the way. And he's struck, but not nearly as badly. And now, Bella, you're up. [00:27:00] Speaker C: I need like a giant lightning rod to stab the Kraken with. [00:27:04] Speaker D: Yeah, no shit. How's our boat looking? [00:27:07] Speaker A: The opal gene is faring okay in terms of being flung by a huge creature. Like, it's intact. [00:27:16] Speaker D: Okay. [00:27:16] Speaker A: The masts are intact, but the fairy is not doing well. [00:27:22] Speaker D: But the oboe gene is doing pretty all right. [00:27:25] Speaker A: Decent, certainly. But you do have damage. [00:27:29] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:27:30] Speaker D: All right. I don't have a men's spell. Oh, well, let's. I'll try and kill this. Gonna throw a couple eldritch blasts at his eyes. [00:27:44] Speaker A: Okay. With your hands on the wheel there, like you cast hadar before there. There are kind of portholes so you could blast it out the window. [00:27:55] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:27:56] Speaker A: Okay, you see the head of the kraken rising almost 60ft above the black waves. And you know just where Steve was popping a couple arrows at its huge, green, iridescent eyes. You can totally blast and roll on AC. [00:28:15] Speaker D: That's a 20 and a 23 both hit. One of them does and damage. The other one does three damage. I'd like to go for opposing eyes. [00:28:28] Speaker A: Okay. [00:28:30] Speaker D: We'll use that extra, like, pushback force to see if we can throw it off off balance for an attack or something. [00:28:36] Speaker A: Okay. Roll damage. And then we're also using the repelling blast. [00:28:40] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah. So the damage was 13 total. And using repelling blast, see if we can knock it off balance. [00:28:48] Speaker A: Beleg and party at large. You see a virtual face punch. Hit this giant creature in the dark. [00:28:58] Speaker D: You, Kraken. [00:29:02] Speaker A: And a huge thunderclap rolls in and, you know, deafens everybody momentarily. Beleg. Anything else in your movement? [00:29:17] Speaker D: More evasive maneuvers. [00:29:21] Speaker A: Okay, in what direction are you going? Towards your fairy convoy. Or are you steering away? [00:29:33] Speaker D: I think I'd be steering away. [00:29:36] Speaker A: Okay. [00:29:37] Speaker D: I'd love to save those guys, but I don't think I'm gonna save them if I steer towards it right now. I wanna put some distance between us and the Kraken mele. [00:29:48] Speaker A: As you do that, you just see a tentacle coming at the captain's cabin of the Au Bojin. That's a four to hit, let's just say. Oh, four plus 17. Now let's just check on the old AC of the OPO gene. That's. Hello, Siege monster. The Kraken deals double damage to objects, vehicles and structures. [00:30:21] Speaker B: Too bad. The open. [00:30:22] Speaker D: No, no, Rob, you misunderstand. You misunderstood. I said evasive maneuver. [00:30:30] Speaker A: If the target is large or small, you're also going to be grappled. You are restrained, Auboatgene; with Beleg Dygar and Steve above, you have taken 20 bludgeoning damage, doubled for the Auboatgene: 40 bludgeoning damage. You are Grappled, you are restrained. You're gonna be trying to escape a DC of 18, Captain Beleg. And the Kraken has 10 tentacles. Here come two more. [00:31:06] Speaker B: Jesus. [00:31:06] Speaker A: That's a 20 plus 17 and north reach ferry. You've just been hit. [00:31:14] Speaker B: Oh, okay. [00:31:15] Speaker A: That's actually fairly low. So 16 doubled and there's a huge crack as the hoop of tentacles breaks off the nose breaks off the whole front of the North Reach ferry. [00:31:36] Speaker C: Don't think I'm gonna be able to mend that. [00:31:39] Speaker D: No. [00:31:41] Speaker A: Third attack. And Oldfoot takes a tentacle. And Oldfoot is grappled and whisked off the deck. Kaitoa, you were up. [00:32:00] Speaker E: We're going down. [00:32:02] Speaker C: I don't know if our ships are gonna last another round. [00:32:06] Speaker E: Okay. So I'm. I'm gonna just. I'm swinging for the fences here. I am thinking I am going to. My options are throw Cris bomb into the Kraken and hopefully someone can shoot it. Or I stab the shit out of it, rupture it, and as it's like degassing huck it in. Which I think is the best bet because if I throw it in and everyone misses, it's a waste. [00:32:38] Speaker C: Right. [00:32:40] Speaker E: Or I jump in with it and I'm gone. [00:32:43] Speaker C: Yeah. I don't think. I don't think Kaitoa can swim. [00:32:48] Speaker E: Well, I sink pretty fast, so I don't. I can breathe in water. So there is the option of like throwing it as I just dive and go deep. [00:32:58] Speaker C: Yeah, and then you'll walk there to cause them. [00:33:02] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:33:03] Speaker E: And hopefully I just avoid the blast. Yeah, but. Yeah, but what I'm gonna do. It's my turn. Sorry, I just took 30 damage. We're all going down. I'm gonna Cris bomb the fuck out of this thing. [00:33:18] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:33:20] Speaker E: Unless there's a way someone can sharpshoot it. But I don't know. Like if Steve was. If Steve was batting after me, it'd be perfect, but he's not. [00:33:30] Speaker C: So do you have a. Yeah, I'm after Kaitoa. [00:33:35] Speaker D: You could always try. And then a shatter bomb down where Kaitoa throws the Kris bomb. [00:33:40] Speaker C: Yeah, I didn't make any. I have to make those ahead of time. [00:33:45] Speaker D: You can't just pull it out your feathery ass. [00:33:48] Speaker C: No, not the shattered ones. [00:33:50] Speaker B: Okay. [00:33:51] Speaker E: And then who's after Zozo Stolas. And then Steve, I think, ooh, we could do a handoff action. [00:34:01] Speaker D: But I still vote for the Cris bomb. Hail Mary. [00:34:05] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:34:05] Speaker E: But delivering it dead center in this Kraken Zozo could probably deliver it if I rupture it. I mean, it's got to be ruptured. [00:34:16] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:34:18] Speaker B: Oh, I think I know it. [00:34:23] Speaker A: Okay, you know what you got? Okay, so you got the Kraken or the Kraken. Right now is fully engaged and enmeshed with both vessels. Kaitoa, what do you do it? [00:34:40] Speaker E: We said we have an unlimited supply of rope. [00:34:44] Speaker A: Yes. On you know, both the rigging and the rope that you carry in your adventurer's pack. I mean there could be 150 to 200ft at your disposal. [00:34:55] Speaker E: Okay, so how big was that golden fang? [00:35:02] Speaker A: Oh, golden fang. It was a large fang. It was the big canine of a big gnoll. [00:35:09] Speaker C: Okay. [00:35:09] Speaker E: I'm going to tie a 40 foot rope to it to the end. Like securely tie a 40 foot rope into this golden fang. [00:35:20] Speaker A: Okay. [00:35:22] Speaker E: And I am gonna take the Kris bomb and at the core of it with all my might, I'm gonna jam this golden claw in to rupture it, but plug it again like it was ruptured before. [00:35:37] Speaker A: Okay. [00:35:38] Speaker D: And you're launching it, but you're not pulling the knife out. [00:35:41] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, you're launching it. Say 40ft would be right at the center mass of this creature. [00:35:49] Speaker E: So I now have a cris bomb with a plug and a ruptured hole on a big line. [00:35:57] Speaker A: But now I will have you roll something if you are casting this into the ocean towards the Kraken. [00:36:04] Speaker E: No, I am. I'm now going to pop the vent plug that Zozo installed. [00:36:12] Speaker A: Sure. The spigot. [00:36:14] Speaker E: Yeah, to ensure it's got a lot of venting capabilities. I know the venting plug on its own won't rupture it, but maybe both will. And then I'm going to pick it up and hoist it into the air and I'm going to ready it. I'm gonna place myself in the best location for it to be picked up. Oh, and I'm gonna use a help action if I can. [00:36:45] Speaker A: Yeah, sure. Okay. So you're just preparing this. Okay. So as you do that, is there anything else you would do in your move? But no, you would certainly land. [00:36:53] Speaker E: Oh, I'm also gonna enrage because I forgot to do that last round. And that's how it's like. [00:37:01] Speaker A: As you enrage Kaitoa, your metal armor plates and your construct parts exoskeleton are still smoking from the lightning strike, you know. But you do all this and you prepare the Kriz pack. And coming up next is rook slash. [00:37:21] Speaker B: Old fashioned. [00:37:22] Speaker A: Anything else? [00:37:23] Speaker E: Yeah, But I'm gonna. Ready and hold on to the end. [00:37:27] Speaker A: Of the 40 foot rope. [00:37:29] Speaker E: So it's venting right now. [00:37:32] Speaker A: Okay, the trigger. You got the trigger rope. Okay, Rook is up. Okay. And then Flagon. Oh, boy. Okay, so you see Flagon absolutely charred against the tiller and he is slumped back. And now the vessel without its front portion, without its bow and it is listing and it is now quickly sinking. Oldfoot is gone. Oldfoot has been just carried off into the black waves. [00:38:09] Speaker B: Oh. [00:38:14] Speaker E: I hated that guy. Anyways. [00:38:19] Speaker B: Ripple, foot, rip, rippled. [00:38:23] Speaker E: Man overboard. [00:38:25] Speaker D: Yeah, he's probably not a great swimmer. [00:38:30] Speaker C: Maybe he floats. [00:38:31] Speaker B: He's all flipper. [00:38:36] Speaker E: Butterfly stroke, man. [00:38:41] Speaker A: And Dr. Zozo, you are up. [00:38:45] Speaker C: Okay, Zozo is going to swoop out of the newly opened hole of the bow of the ship and then fly right over top of Kaitoa and grab the cris bomb. [00:39:02] Speaker A: Can you make a strength check for the weight of this thing? [00:39:09] Speaker C: Okay, that's a 15. [00:39:12] Speaker A: Okay. And then you'll have a lot of movement available to you as you look out at the creature. You know, its center mass is only about 40 or 50ft away. That is your flying range. [00:39:28] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, I'm going to fly at the center of the Kraken. I'm going to. I want to, you know, swoop and try to fly evasively so I don't get caught with a tentacle, but I'm aiming straight for dead center. [00:39:46] Speaker A: Oh, boy. Dr. Zozo, can you roll aerial acrobatics as a tentacle flies up at you and as a lightning bolt also crashes down? [00:40:04] Speaker E: I also have an inspiration I'm gonna give Zozo if he needs it. [00:40:09] Speaker A: Oh, yes, you will have Kaito's aid on any, any sort of roll that needs it. But yeah, it is not an easy pass. [00:40:17] Speaker C: Okay. I rolled a 15 on acrobatics. [00:40:21] Speaker A: Okay. Meets it beats it. [00:40:23] Speaker B: All right. [00:40:28] Speaker A: Go, go, go, go. [00:40:30] Speaker C: I'm going to drop the bomb right. [00:40:34] Speaker E: On its head at the same time it pulls because the rope gets taught it's the pin. The pin is pulled and then Zozo drops it. [00:40:46] Speaker C: Yep. [00:40:47] Speaker A: Kaitoa, I will give you the honor of RA rolling a fateful D4 to see what is the effect of the cris ball. [00:41:01] Speaker D: Krizblik's alive! [00:41:07] Speaker E: Suspense. Yo! Robin, come on! [00:41:13] Speaker A: No, you're rolling it. [00:41:14] Speaker B: You did. [00:41:15] Speaker E: I rolled a four. [00:41:16] Speaker A: Oh, fuck. I didn't hear. [00:41:18] Speaker C: I didn't hear it either. [00:41:20] Speaker E: Oh, sorry. The mic. I was like, I rolled a four and then it was silenced. [00:41:24] Speaker A: I was like, tell me what's going on! [00:41:29] Speaker E: We've just been looking at it being like 'silence!' [00:41:34] Speaker A: Well, that, that sort of makes it all the more momentous as a gigantic blue experience explosion erupts from center mass. [00:41:54] Speaker E: Surf's up, boys. [00:41:55] Speaker A: Okay, everybody. [00:41:56] Speaker D: I'm praying with you, Proton. [00:41:58] Speaker A: Everybody. I would like Everybody to take 47 damage. Holy. And this is force damage. [00:42:10] Speaker B: No save, eh? [00:42:12] Speaker A: No save. [00:42:15] Speaker B: 47. [00:42:16] Speaker A: Yikes. [00:42:17] Speaker C: That takes me below zero. [00:42:22] Speaker B: Jesus Christ. [00:42:23] Speaker D: That takes those little below zero. [00:42:24] Speaker C: Yep. [00:42:26] Speaker D: All right, I'll come save you, buddy. [00:42:30] Speaker E: Kaito's down to 11. Yeah. [00:42:34] Speaker D: Beleg's at 17 right now. Wait, no. [00:42:39] Speaker A: Okay, Flagon's gone. The North Sea Ferry is gone. The Auboatgene is gone. Oh, it's ALL gone. [00:42:56] Speaker A: And now I need everybody to make con saves. Anybody who's dead, I need you to make a death saving throw. [00:43:03] Speaker B: Oh, this is going to be hilarious when Rook is like, what happened last week, boys? Be like, you guys, you dead. Just funny. That's hilarious. So what happened? No, you're dead. You're actually dead. This isn't a joke this time. [00:43:16] Speaker E: I apologize to everyone for my awesome role. It's better to burn out than fade away. [00:43:27] Speaker D: You just started an ice age. [00:43:28] Speaker E: Yeah, we'll all come back as robots. [00:43:30] Speaker D: We're all taking con saves. [00:43:33] Speaker A: Yeah. All concaves. And then gradually the world begins to coalesce around you. The huge blue explosion has left a hole in the ocean. And there seems to be almost like a swirling vortex now where the ocean itself is being sucked in to this whirlpool. [00:44:00] Speaker B: Jesus. [00:44:02] Speaker C: Do I make a con save if I'm dead? No, sorry. [00:44:05] Speaker A: No. You're making a just a death saving throw. [00:44:09] Speaker C: Okay. [00:44:09] Speaker A: And so you have three. Let's deal with zozo. [00:44:12] Speaker C: Okay, I rolled a four. [00:44:15] Speaker A: That's not good. [00:44:16] Speaker C: That's a failure. [00:44:17] Speaker A: We're gonna come back around to you, but I'm afraid, zozo, that you are now being essentially drowned. [00:44:27] Speaker E: I just killed the whole party. [00:44:32] Speaker A: Our next sort of order of business would be anybody else on the North Reach ferry. That's Rook. I'll roll for him. Oh no. [00:44:45] Speaker B: Rook's dead. [00:44:47] Speaker A: Unless I'm wrong, Rook has passed below zero. [00:44:56] Speaker B: Oh man. Chris Flick. You know what I love about Chris Lick? It's just a fucking badger. And this badger has killed us all. [00:45:05] Speaker D: Honey badger, baby. [00:45:06] Speaker A: Wild honey badger. Okay, so things are not looking great. Flagging. [00:45:10] Speaker B: In the end it wasn't the Kraken that killed us. It was the Cobalt Badger. [00:45:16] Speaker A: Steve, how are you doing? Check in with Steve. [00:45:19] Speaker B: Steve is doing great at 17 hit points. [00:45:21] Speaker A: Okay. Okay. Belleg, how we doing? [00:45:25] Speaker D: 10 hit points. [00:45:27] Speaker A: And what did every role on that con? [00:45:30] Speaker B: Depends. [00:45:30] Speaker D: Does anybody have inspiration they could lend me? [00:45:33] Speaker E: I got an inspo. [00:45:35] Speaker A: Okay. [00:45:36] Speaker B: On a con save. [00:45:38] Speaker A: Yeah. I need everybody's con now. [00:45:41] Speaker B: Steve rolled a 15. [00:45:42] Speaker A: Okay. Oh. [00:45:45] Speaker E: Kaitoa rolled a 21. [00:45:48] Speaker A: Steve and Kaitoa, you are making it. Out of the swirling vortex of water. [00:45:56] Speaker D: Belleg rolled a 13 bell egg. [00:45:59] Speaker A: You are not. [00:46:00] Speaker D: No. [00:46:02] Speaker E: Can I give Beleg my inspo? [00:46:05] Speaker A: You can. [00:46:08] Speaker D: No. Even worse. [00:46:10] Speaker E: Belling. [00:46:11] Speaker D: It's okay. I got to move. [00:46:13] Speaker A: Belling. There are a couple of floating items. There's a couple of flagons, barrels. There is the mimic chest with, you know, the. The sarcophagus inside it. There are a couple of. It looks like boards. And as you and swim away, you're. [00:46:37] Speaker B: You're just. [00:46:38] Speaker A: You're not making it. But you do see the body of Zozo underneath the water just beneath you, saying you and Zozo are both being caught in the whirlpool. [00:46:54] Speaker E: Can I. [00:46:54] Speaker D: Can I make moves now? [00:46:56] Speaker A: Yeah. Okay. [00:47:00] Speaker D: I want to try and grab Zozo. Okay. And I want to cast fly on myself and Zozo. [00:47:08] Speaker E: I can. [00:47:10] Speaker A: What is your swimming speed? So are you trying to actually you're swim down into the dark, cold water. [00:47:17] Speaker D: To save my buddy? Absolutely. [00:47:20] Speaker A: Okay. [00:47:21] Speaker E: There's no more Krakens, so I mean. [00:47:24] Speaker A: Yeah. Bellic, what does your fly grant you? [00:47:30] Speaker D: Flying speed of 50ft for 10 minutes, I think. [00:47:34] Speaker A: Can you describe then how you pull this off? It's a very inspired move. [00:47:39] Speaker D: Zozo's what, 10ft below me. [00:47:42] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:47:43] Speaker A: And it quickly disappearing. [00:47:45] Speaker D: Yeah. I dive straight down for Zozo using my, like, trying to push off against any objects that are in the water, any barrels or anything. [00:47:56] Speaker E: He does have hollow bones, so he wouldn't be as heavy as most people. Sting kind of gradually like a heaven. [00:48:07] Speaker D: Thankfully, his courage isn't hollow. Yeah, yeah. Kick off on barrels. Any debris. Debris. Try to grab him as fly and then try and propel myself straight up and fly into the air. [00:48:26] Speaker E: I love the idea of like, Beleg using like, jump moves from like NES games from wall to wall, but doing it downward through the ocean off of barrel debris, like propelling himself. [00:48:39] Speaker D: I'm looking for some like Legolas in the hobbit movies. Cgi. [00:48:44] Speaker A: You pop out like a cork. You have at the moment an absolutely frigid dead Zozo. There is tons of debris, you know, but only a couple of large, you know, larger items. Beleg anything else in your move. It's just like when I pulled you. [00:49:07] Speaker C: Out of the river. [00:49:08] Speaker D: What did you say? [00:49:09] Speaker C: It's just like when I pulled you out of the river. [00:49:12] Speaker D: Oh, exactly. It's like same situation get repaid. [00:49:23] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:49:24] Speaker D: I look around for anything I can see that might be in the distance. Any land or anything like that. I don't think there is, though, is there, Bella? [00:49:34] Speaker A: Do you really want me to say it? Roll perception. [00:49:41] Speaker C: Well, it's not the worst. [00:49:43] Speaker D: It's 12. [00:49:45] Speaker A: Okay. Well, no, you mean you'll know you're still 100 miles from the port town of Maw. That is 24 hours sailing. Like, that's a long day of sailing. 24 hours of sailing and you're about the same distance, maybe a little bit less. Back to Zirp, Neil. There's the black ocean, the black bottomless ocean. And then there's three or four objects you see bobbing around. You see the mimic chest. You see a couple of Captain Flagon's barrels. Then you see a couple of boards. [00:50:26] Speaker D: The mimic chest. Eh, floating. Mm. All right, I'm gonna aim my sights on landing on that one, but I'm gonna stay. [00:50:36] Speaker E: How big is it? [00:50:38] Speaker D: It's pretty big chest, right? [00:50:40] Speaker A: Yeah, it's a. It's like as big as a park bench. You know, it's a six foot by two and a half foot depth by almost two foot deep. Big one. And you know, as you guys will remember, this is like a one piece dugout canoe. One piece of wood mimic, just so, of course, it's floating wonderfully. [00:50:59] Speaker D: Yeah, we're gonna aim for that guy. And I'm gonna. If I can, I'm gonna try and turn into our pompous Pimperdell when I. For when I land on it. [00:51:10] Speaker A: Okay, well, Beleg, at the end of your move, is there anything else? [00:51:18] Speaker D: I don't think so. [00:51:21] Speaker A: Okay. The waves crash about you, and a huge brown black tentacle surges up into the air and crashes down near to all of these survivors and then recedes back into the water. Kaitoa, you're up. [00:51:44] Speaker E: Where am I? Where do I find myself in this chaos? [00:51:48] Speaker A: Okay, you were free from all of the ropes, so it's not like you were taken down with the ship. But both vessels are gone. Yeah, they have gone down into the black North Sea. And so, you know you're there. Your construct, exoskeleton actually makes you quite buoyant. And you're floating amongst the. The waves. [00:52:15] Speaker E: What's around me? [00:52:17] Speaker A: Can you roll a perception? Yeah. 23 interesting makai toa. You see about like a hundred feet. [00:52:30] Speaker B: Off. [00:52:33] Speaker A: Into the Darkness. You see a small purple rowboat. [00:52:40] Speaker D: Oh, Auboatgene's rowboat! The... Rowboat-Gene? [00:52:45] Speaker E: Ah, okay. [00:52:47] Speaker B: How far away? [00:52:49] Speaker A: Well, it's the exact opposite direction from your party members, Kaitoa. So here's what you see. Essentially you see the final whip of a tentacle lashing out near Beleg and Zozo that seem to be making their way almost atop the floating mimic chest. You see what you think to be Rook face down in the water. And then you see this little purple rowboat. [00:53:21] Speaker E: Is Rook on the way to the rowboat? [00:53:24] Speaker A: He's sort of midway. Yeah. [00:53:27] Speaker E: Okay, so I'm gonna sprint in the water. I don't know how that works with swimming. [00:53:37] Speaker A: You can move, I think. What is it? Your swimming distance. You'll be. I mean you're very close to rook. You're only 15ft to rook and then another 15 to the robo. So I don't think that's the object. The. The issue will be the huge waves crashing around you. There's still this natural lightning storm here and it crackles. And you will now. Yes, Kaitoa, you will now grab Rook. But can you an athletics or a strength as the purple rowboat is being whipped away from you. [00:54:17] Speaker E: It's gonna be a 14. [00:54:20] Speaker A: Oh, do you have anything to add to that? As you were just picking the wrong stroke? [00:54:26] Speaker E: Nope, cuz I gave my inspel away. [00:54:29] Speaker A: Okay, well, Kaitoa, as you pick up Rook here, Oldfoot, I mean, he's nowhere to be seen and the boat is now sort of getting away from you. And you've made it 90% of the way there. You're so close to getting this little purple rowboat within your metal grass. Like so close. Close. And yet you've now put a lot of distance between Beleg and the surviving Zozo. What would you do in this final moment? [00:55:00] Speaker E: So I would I tie. I still have my stone. Great axe. I haven't gotten rid of that. So I tie that to a rope and hock it towards the boat. Actually, no, I have two hand axes, so I'd rather. Yeah, throw the hand axe on a rope. Trying to like grapple the boat. Trying to land it in the boat. [00:55:27] Speaker A: To fish it with your last gasp of energy. See if you can wrangle that boat in. [00:55:37] Speaker E: What do you want me to roll? [00:55:39] Speaker A: Dexterity, I think, to try and hit this thing. [00:55:44] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:55:45] Speaker E: Dex would be plus 2. 16 perhaps. [00:55:50] Speaker A: Your tiny little hand ax kind of pings off the edge of this thing, but like it's not out of your reach. But you have. You haven't like fished it in. [00:56:02] Speaker E: Yeah, but did it hook that I. Or did it bounce off? [00:56:07] Speaker A: It has bounced off into the water. And as the moonlight and the starlight here is obscured still by the, you know, thunderclouds intermittently, it is extremely hard for the rest of the party now to see sort of what has happened to Kaitoa and Rook as they're obscured by the waves. Oh, there's so many future. Fewer people in initiative now. Zozo, you're up. Okay, second death saving throw. [00:56:40] Speaker C: I rolled an 18 that time. [00:56:45] Speaker A: Dr. Zozo. It is all black and cold around you, but you feel this jerking motion as you are lifted out of the water. And although you are floating between consciousness and unconsciousness, you definitely feel like is kissing you. You're out of the water. [00:57:11] Speaker C: My hero. Okay. [00:57:15] Speaker E: Never let go. [00:57:18] Speaker C: Is that my. My whole turn is the saving throw. [00:57:22] Speaker A: You made your death saving throw. Luckily that was your second one. But I. I would say you've taken almost all of your move to simply become stable. [00:57:35] Speaker C: Yeah. Okay. [00:57:37] Speaker A: And you are not looking good. [00:57:39] Speaker C: No. [00:57:41] Speaker A: One failure away from death there, Dr. Zozo. Okay. Oh, serious stuff in the house too tonight. Stas, you're up. [00:57:53] Speaker B: Stas is going to fly towards that rowboat. [00:57:59] Speaker A: In the dark of night. Here you can dispatch Stas and they could fly over what like 60 times 220ft? [00:58:07] Speaker B: 60 and then on a. On a sprint. Yeah, 120. [00:58:12] Speaker A: That is how far you will have to go as the final little whirlpools of the sinking ships combine with the whirlpool of the explosion, the blue crystal. There, finally, that danger is gone. Nobody has been sucked down by the pull of these vessels. [00:58:42] Speaker C: Except old foot. [00:58:44] Speaker E: You mean drowned foot? [00:58:47] Speaker B: Wet foot. [00:58:48] Speaker A: Wet foot. Yeah, wet foot and. And flagging. [00:58:52] Speaker E: Oh, I can't believe you're probably. And be like, what the fuck happened? [00:58:59] Speaker A: And friends and adventurers, that is definitely the mid episode break there as Stolas is dispatched. And so next Stolas, we have Steve on deck. Well, actually, sorry, before we break, let's quickly do. [00:59:16] Speaker B: Am I actually on deck or am. [00:59:17] Speaker A: I in the locker room? [00:59:19] Speaker C: No one's on deck. [00:59:21] Speaker A: You're on. Mimic Stolas. What are you gonna roll? Let's get to the end of the order here, Stolas. [00:59:29] Speaker B: Well, I guess Stolas is just going to let Steve know where that boat is. Okay, roll a perception 16 plus wisdom 18 for stolas. [00:59:41] Speaker A: Okay, that's in the good zone. Okay, so Stolas now sees in the final sort of crack of natural Lightning here. As the lightning storm finally begins to sort of dissipate here, just makes out the form of Kaitoa and Rook and a small rowboat. But it seems like there is a sort of frantic struggle and Kaitoa is, you know, launching a improv grappling hook towards the fast escaping boat because I mean, it's empty and it's just being taken away on the waves. Oh, and, oh yeah, this little purple rowboat, it looks like it has a, you know, a folded down mast. Oh. [01:00:26] Speaker B: All right. [01:00:29] Speaker A: Steve, then you're up. And you will be assured that your owl familiar has made some sort of positive identification on the missing party members. [01:00:39] Speaker B: Okay, and how far away in relation is Steve to this point? [01:00:44] Speaker A: 120Ft. Whoa. [01:00:47] Speaker B: Fuck. Okay. [01:00:50] Speaker A: The waves are about eight feet tall. [01:00:53] Speaker B: Tall, yeah. [01:00:55] Speaker A: And they are not subsiding, although the storm is dissipating. And now the moonlight and the starlight is, is sort of dominating at least and lighting the scene. [01:01:07] Speaker B: Okay, we gotta get this robot. That's, that's Steve's mission. Well, first as my bonus, I'm going to second wind. [01:01:18] Speaker A: Okay. [01:01:20] Speaker B: Which is going to heal me the 11 points of damage. [01:01:25] Speaker A: Okay, that'll bring you up. You were, you were at 11 or at 12? [01:01:29] Speaker B: I was at 17. So now I'm at 28. [01:01:32] Speaker A: Okay. [01:01:33] Speaker B: And then I wish I had water walk or something like that. [01:01:38] Speaker A: Steve, describe like what does it look like as you all of a sudden get a surge of the sort of adrenaline? [01:01:47] Speaker B: Yeah, it's like, it's like a, a gritting of teeth and, and just pulling, pulling an inner inspiration to get my together. [01:02:00] Speaker D: Wait, you're swimming towards the rowboat. [01:02:02] Speaker B: I think, I think I'm going towards. Well, you cast, you cast fly, right? [01:02:07] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:02:07] Speaker D: Yeah. [01:02:08] Speaker B: Okay. I'm going towards the robot I land on. The minute that boat, I'm gonna put all my, all my efforts into. Into swimming over you says 100ft. [01:02:20] Speaker A: It's about 120. And then. Yeah. I mean as you grit your teeth and you pull your polar bear skin lined poncho around you. Yeah. You have this burst of vitality and pluck. [01:02:40] Speaker B: I've been in colder situations. This is nothing. I got this. [01:02:50] Speaker A: And friends and adventurers, as the two moons over Beheru make their transits above your very cold heads, that is where we will break for tonight. Sam. [01:04:11] Speaker E: Chris would have wanted it to happen that way. She was a feisty badger, always ready for combat. He would have wanted that. [01:04:21] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:04:22] Speaker E: Kriz would have wanted that. [01:04:29] Speaker B: That's brutal. So how funny would it be to actually tell Rook that he died for it to be real. What did I miss when I was gone? You died. [01:04:42] Speaker D: Funny thing is you said that after every session, somebody. That's hilarious. You funny, fox. What actually happened? [01:04:55] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:04:55] Speaker D: Died. [01:04:57] Speaker B: Yeah, you died. Oldfoot died. Krisbick blew up. Everyone died. [01:05:04] Speaker D: I. I really, really, really want Rob to make some sort of Krizblik montage of, like, all the audio clips of us trying to train Krizblik and finding Krizblik and a tribute ...Krizblik. [01:05:25] Speaker E: Remember when I nailed a four on the Krizbomb? [01:05:29] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:05:30] Speaker E: When I never thought I would. I, I, I'm so glad that I was at Braden's so he could see it, that it wasn't like. I'm not bullshitting. [01:05:39] Speaker D: You guys saw the picture that I sent of my hand. I felt worse when I saw that four roll than I did when I saw my hand sliced open. [01:05:49] Speaker E: Well, now I can carry more items, which is nice. And we have a side quest we don't need to follow. Remember when we went for a sail? [01:06:05] Speaker D: For sail! We're up for a sail! We got the fancy boat. [01:06:11] Speaker B: Ha ha ha. [01:06:12] Speaker C: Oh, yeah. [01:06:14] Speaker B: Yeah. We'll take these boats. It'll get there super fast. [01:06:17] Speaker C: Yeah, we should have stopped at Zirpnil. [01:06:22] Speaker B: He did give us the option. [01:06:24] Speaker C: Yep. We could just. We could be, like, lounging in some inn tonight... [01:06:34] Speaker A: The rowboat-gene. God, I love that. [01:06:39] Speaker D: I'm pretty sure Tomo said that last session. [01:06:42] Speaker A: Oh, that's retroactive inspiration. That's pretty clever. [01:06:45] Speaker D: I'm gonna take credit for it. [01:06:46] Speaker A: Yeah, it's clever. It's very clever. [01:06:53] Speaker A: And then there's nothing left. There's a stowaway. There is a cat. [01:07:04] Speaker B: Oh, hey, what. What flavor chicken did you guys get to? [01:07:09] Speaker E: A half and a half original Yang Yum. Double daikon and some white fries. [01:07:15] Speaker B: Yeah. Oh, yeah. [01:07:18] Speaker A: Oh, my God. [01:07:19] Speaker E: It was just enough for two. And there's some munchies. [01:07:25] Speaker B: I don't want that paddock. Want that paddock in my life. I know. [01:07:31] Speaker E: Daikon's like popcorn almost. Now. [01:07:36] Speaker B: Eric, if you ever get the chance, man, there's a place on. On Quadra street called Chicken649. [01:07:42] Speaker C: Oh, yeah, that's good. [01:07:43] Speaker B: Oh, fuck. It is like fried chicken. Next level. It's so nice. Incredible. [01:07:50] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:07:50] Speaker B: It's fucking amazing. I had it on Friday, and I'm like. I am, like, envious of the fried chicken. That. [01:07:57] Speaker E: Yeah. [01:07:58] Speaker C: Oh, nice. I'll have to check it out sometime. [01:08:00] Speaker D: It's so good. Dude. [01:08:02] Speaker B: Dude, it's incredible. [01:08:03] Speaker E: And they have a lunch special for, like, 10 bucks. That's amazing. [01:08:09] Speaker C: Nice.
