[00:00:01] Speaker A: Welcome, friends and adventurers, to another episode of Dungeons and Blackguards. I am your dungeon master, Robulon. Joining me, in no particular order, are the players. Tomo. [00:00:17] Speaker B: I am playing Steve Peheman, Level 5 Gloomstalker. Ranger Fighter, Level 2, Rogue, Level 1. I have an owl. [00:00:28] Speaker A: Brandon. [00:00:29] Speaker C: I am ikirut Puigshlay, Level 8 Blood Hunter, half Orc. And I have breast enhancements. [00:00:39] Speaker A: Brayden. [00:00:41] Speaker D: Hey. I'm Braden. I play Beleague Degar, half elf. Hexblade warlock, level eight, Eric. [00:00:49] Speaker E: I'm Eric. I play Dr. Zozo brightfeather, a level eight narakocra artificer. [00:00:55] Speaker A: And last but not least, Caleb. [00:00:58] Speaker F: Domo aragato. I am the construct, Kaitohe Tata. And I am a level 8 warforged barbarian. [00:01:11] Speaker A: Previously on Dungeons and Blackguards. [00:01:16] Speaker F: So I'm gonna. Yeah. Try and chop his leg off. [00:01:25] Speaker A: And he crashes down onto the lor stairs of the Temple of Dance. Steve, you're gonna be reduced in height by about probably 10ft. Like the golem is now missing a leg below the knee. [00:01:44] Speaker F: Perfect. [00:01:45] Speaker C: Huzzah. Yeah. [00:01:49] Speaker B: Was there any sound that was made when that leg was hacked off? [00:01:54] Speaker F: Was it metallic or just squishy? [00:01:57] Speaker A: You guys hear a huge keshplunk and then a bunch of sor creak and crash. That reminds you. Yes. Of metal. [00:02:07] Speaker F: He's got skeleton. [00:02:11] Speaker A: The Golem takes his move. [00:02:14] Speaker B: You need a whole lot of water, Rook. [00:02:19] Speaker C: Yes, sir. [00:02:21] Speaker F: You're gonna get Gollum. [00:02:24] Speaker A: 19 plus 8? [00:02:26] Speaker D: 10. Well, it's better than a 20 plus 8. [00:02:31] Speaker A: 17 plus 5 is 2. 20 bludgeoning damage. Rook, that didn't hit me. [00:02:42] Speaker C: I'm sorry. [00:02:46] Speaker A: Are your breastplates enhancing you? Above 24, you are victim to a massive concussive blow. [00:03:03] Speaker B: Yeah, you booped. [00:03:07] Speaker A: If you do not succeed on a DC15 constitution saving throw, there could be consequences. Could you roll a constitution saving throw Constitution buster. [00:03:23] Speaker C: Oh, snap. 19, baby. Nice. [00:03:28] Speaker A: You are slammed, Rook, into the huge granite staircase that has already been smashed. You are slammed. But luckily you didn't die or get concussed. [00:03:47] Speaker C: All right, I'm down to 65. [00:03:53] Speaker A: The golem makes two slam attacks. [00:03:56] Speaker D: You're down below.65. [00:04:00] Speaker A: That is a nat.20. [00:04:02] Speaker D: Oh, God. [00:04:04] Speaker A: That is a plus eight to hit. Excuse me, rook, does 28 hit your breastplate? No. [00:04:12] Speaker F: No. [00:04:12] Speaker A: Well, it's a nat anyways. So now that double damage. 4d10 plus five. [00:04:20] Speaker B: No. [00:04:20] Speaker F: Fuck. [00:04:22] Speaker A: Okay, plus five. So at rook, that is another 37 damage. And party Rook is driven into the slab. [00:04:44] Speaker C: Nice. How's it doing? [00:04:53] Speaker D: Because he's fine. [00:04:55] Speaker A: Yeah, he's all right. [00:04:56] Speaker B: Just missed him. [00:04:58] Speaker F: Hey, Zozo, do you have any aspirin? [00:05:06] Speaker A: The golem's turn is excluded. Oh, sorry. Reaction. [00:05:11] Speaker C: You just settle down. Yeah, I'm doing my hellish rebuke on reaction. [00:05:14] Speaker A: Oh, yes. Okay. Is that a dex or con? [00:05:21] Speaker C: Dex. [00:05:22] Speaker A: He has a dex. That's a two. Okay. Oh, sorry. Hold on. The golem has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects. Hold on. [00:05:41] Speaker F: Yeah, I was like. Didn't he have. Didn't you whisper? [00:05:43] Speaker A: I forgot to roll. Advantage. Here we go. Sorry, bud. Here we go, here we go, here we go. That's a three. [00:05:51] Speaker C: Still gets 3D. [00:05:53] Speaker A: Carry on. [00:05:55] Speaker C: So first one's a 10. Second one seven. Third one. Oh, that's a nine. So 26. [00:06:07] Speaker A: Seven, 10, nine. Okay. You see sparks and clay and flame start to erupt, but not at the surface of this golem. It looks like something inside that is sparking and fizzling. [00:06:23] Speaker C: That's all I got because I can only react. [00:06:27] Speaker A: Dr. Zozo. Dr. Zozo. [00:06:31] Speaker E: Alright, well, I'm gonna fly over and I think while I'm flying, I'm going to mix together quick little potion and coat a crossbow bolt with it. [00:06:47] Speaker A: What you got there? A regular crossbow? [00:06:50] Speaker E: It's a light crossbow. [00:06:52] Speaker A: A light crossbow. Oh, nice. Okay, so what are you coating with? [00:06:58] Speaker E: I'm going to coat it with alchemical fire. [00:07:01] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:07:01] Speaker E: So I'm gonna flap to it and then. Fire. [00:07:05] Speaker F: Fire. [00:07:05] Speaker E: My crossbow coated with alchemical fire. [00:07:10] Speaker A: Roll on ac. And if there's anything that that alchemical fire is giving you as a plus to the attack, obviously add that or if it's damage. We'll cross that bridge when we come to it. [00:07:24] Speaker E: AC was 19 to hit. [00:07:27] Speaker A: Your crossbow bolt sinks in to the golem. [00:07:32] Speaker E: Okay, so the crossbow causes one D8 piercing and then the alchemical fire will do another two D8 plus four. [00:07:48] Speaker C: D8. [00:07:49] Speaker A: Is that a floor dice? Yep, it counts. [00:07:53] Speaker E: Okay, so it's eight plus six plus another six plus four. [00:08:00] Speaker A: Nice. [00:08:01] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:08:03] Speaker A: What is the color of your fire? [00:08:07] Speaker E: I think it'll be like a purple. [00:08:11] Speaker A: Flames erupt and total damage was 24. Nice. And where precisely did you hit him? [00:08:22] Speaker E: Right in the head. [00:08:25] Speaker A: Boom. Right in the forehead. [00:08:28] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:08:29] Speaker A: Dr. Zozo, you are mid air. Anything else with your move? I don't think you've used all of your movement and you've certainly used one attack, right? [00:08:41] Speaker E: Well, I used my bonus, my bonus action to coat the crossbow bolt. [00:08:47] Speaker A: Do you have two attacks just by virtue of your level? [00:08:52] Speaker E: I don't think so. [00:08:54] Speaker A: Okay. All right, now, Bellegs specter. [00:09:04] Speaker D: Okay? I should have just enough movement for this. So I want my specter to do. Because he can pass through other creatures. Because I want him to go to the golem and go through the golem to see if he can see any lodestone and be able to. And locate where it is and then come out the other side. [00:09:25] Speaker A: Because he can pass through creatures, various thicknesses of walls. Okay, yeah, I get it. [00:09:31] Speaker D: Yep. Incorporeal movement. So he passes through the. The golem. And while he passes through the golem, I've instructed him to look around to see if he can locate any lodestone. Basically, help Steve out, and then he'll come out just on the other side of the golem. [00:09:47] Speaker C: Oh, not redkey. After he gets pummeled. Thanks. [00:09:50] Speaker D: Hey, man, Steve's trying to find the off switch. My specter can't do shit for you. [00:09:56] Speaker A: Okay, your specter here, what would you have them roll and a skill or what? [00:10:05] Speaker D: It rolls with my. With my perception. [00:10:11] Speaker A: Oh, God. [00:10:19] Speaker D: So I'm gonna roll perception. [00:10:23] Speaker C: Do you have inspiration? [00:10:27] Speaker D: No. And I rolled a five. [00:10:30] Speaker B: Steve gives you one of his inspirations. [00:10:34] Speaker D: He takes it. [00:10:36] Speaker A: Okay, well, Steve, you have just offered inspiration via help. And roll again. Beleg's specter. [00:10:48] Speaker D: That's a 14. [00:10:51] Speaker A: Okay, Steve, what would you say you have done as you witnessed the incorporeal specter? You know, go all vision on this golem. [00:11:03] Speaker B: I guess this. It's an undead thing. [00:11:06] Speaker A: Mm. [00:11:08] Speaker B: Uh, I. I guess I yell to it. Torso. Look in the torso. [00:11:17] Speaker A: Oh, boy. And you speak. You speak draconic, don't you? Well, Steve, that made the difference. Steve, as you shout downwards into the clay golem, just as the specter passes through Beleg you. You see them capture something, and there they are, exiting out of the front of the golem. Except as they try and pass through, it seems the object that they have retrieved is held. [00:11:54] Speaker D: Yeah, I don't think it can grab anything anyways. [00:11:58] Speaker A: Maybe it can. Your specter has attempted and identified something at the core. [00:12:07] Speaker D: Okay, cool. Can Steve see me? Can Steve see the specter? [00:12:12] Speaker A: Oh, yes. [00:12:14] Speaker D: All right, then just want the specter to point directly to where the stone was so Steve knows where it is as a free action, and then attack it. [00:12:28] Speaker A: Nice. Okay, that's the specter's free action to give you a little wink and a nod there, Steve. And then what's he attacking with? [00:12:38] Speaker D: Life drain. [00:12:39] Speaker A: Is that magic? [00:12:41] Speaker D: Yep. It's necrotic. [00:12:44] Speaker A: Okay. [00:12:44] Speaker D: But it's not a. It's not a saving throw. Yeah. So it's necrotic damage. I don't know if he's got resistance to that. [00:12:51] Speaker A: Oh, that's an interesting one. Let me see. [00:12:53] Speaker D: No, Wonderful, wonderful. And that's a 22. [00:13:01] Speaker A: Yeah. Boy, he's got a lot of immunities, but not necrotic. That is very, very interesting. [00:13:09] Speaker D: That is. Or 4. That's 11 necrotic damage. And then he's got to do the con save of just 10 or else it. That comes off of his max health as well. [00:13:24] Speaker A: Oh, because it's life drain. Well, he's got plus four. [00:13:29] Speaker D: Yeah. So he has to roll really shitty. [00:13:31] Speaker A: He passed that. [00:13:32] Speaker D: Okay, well it's just 11 damage then. [00:13:35] Speaker A: Okay, well your trusty raised spectre does the old move here. Right through him. Turn around and then the party is very quickly approaching the top of the order again, except for stolas down at 4 and then the environment down at the bottom of the order. So we're gonna be right back at the top in a moment. But Stolas, what is the owl familiar doing? [00:14:11] Speaker F: I don't know what these stupid golem hearts do. They just keep following me around like. [00:14:17] Speaker A: A bunch of fucking debris. [00:14:19] Speaker D: Deborah, you should see if it can wrap around you and make like a Iron man suit. [00:14:26] Speaker F: I know, that's what I was hoping. [00:14:27] Speaker B: If you punch, they punch. [00:14:30] Speaker F: Well, I've already hit this thing with an axe, so. Yeah, we'll see next round what it does. [00:14:37] Speaker B: If you can do like a multi punch attack where it's just all chunks of flying in it. [00:14:42] Speaker C: So if I kind of dash away here due to my low hit points and I get old foot. Do I take. Am I prone for an advantage attack? [00:14:53] Speaker F: You would have to. Yeah. Probably get up off the ground with an action if you're not. [00:14:59] Speaker B: Did he knock you prone? [00:15:01] Speaker C: No. [00:15:02] Speaker F: No. Okay. I just assumed with the impact. [00:15:07] Speaker D: Oh, you might take an opportunity attack though. [00:15:12] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:15:13] Speaker B: You have to use disengage as an action and then it can't attack you. Okay. [00:15:17] Speaker C: Just because I'm. If I. I can't take another one of those. [00:15:20] Speaker F: Yeah, you need to get dual hits. [00:15:22] Speaker B: Yeah, no, that is. It's rough. [00:15:24] Speaker F: Well, at least right now you're lucky. [00:15:26] Speaker D: You passed that con save too. [00:15:28] Speaker F: Yeah, baby. [00:15:29] Speaker C: That's rough. I had, I had two inspirations to use if I didn't, so I was all over it. [00:15:38] Speaker F: Yeah. At least I can half that damage. So I can always. Yeah. Draw this cards attention away. [00:15:47] Speaker C: Yeah. Because I'm gonna have to disengage and be out and get Oldfoot to shoot him if he's still alive. [00:15:54] Speaker F: Hopefully I can chop his head off next round. [00:15:58] Speaker C: Yeah. How did he make that crazy attack on me if he's losing? Lost a leg. [00:16:03] Speaker F: It was a big punch. [00:16:05] Speaker C: Yeah, and he's a big dude. [00:16:06] Speaker F: Just reached behind his head and punched as hard as he could. [00:16:12] Speaker C: Dirty dog. [00:16:15] Speaker B: So should I Homer Simpson this golem and, like, stick one hand in and then stick the other hand in and then just put my entire face inside. [00:16:26] Speaker F: And now I will use my mouth to pull out my other arms. [00:16:35] Speaker A: And we are back, Stolas. [00:16:39] Speaker B: Yes. Gosh. Well, what I would like Stolas to do in particular is to have the golem arch back so that Steve can get a better shot at where. Where that cobbler showed him. So that to make the golem shift its weight or shift its body so that I can get a better run at that. [00:17:01] Speaker A: Oh, that is a great, great description, Steve. I will award. Sorry, Stolas. I will award you owl inspiration. [00:17:12] Speaker B: Owlspiration. [00:17:13] Speaker E: Yeah, I gotta get me some of. [00:17:15] Speaker A: That'S inspiration envy there. It runs rampant. And Stolas could be the owl that breaks the golems back. [00:17:31] Speaker B: Let's do a little wisdom check here. [00:17:33] Speaker A: Okay? This will be Stolas executing the plan properly. [00:17:40] Speaker B: I'm gonna use that inspo because I want a better roll on the map. [00:17:45] Speaker A: That is what it's there for. [00:17:46] Speaker B: That was. That was a six. Fuck that. Better. Thirteen. [00:17:52] Speaker A: Oh, wow. It's right on the brink. It's wavering. It's wavering. This golem now on its one stump foot, is hovering over Rook. Its knee starts to approach the ground. It's starting to lose its balance and its momentum is out of control. But it's not there yet. As Dolas swoops out of the way and just gets a whole glob of mud all over them. Steve and Stolas is actually taken down by this glob of mud. No longer airborne, Stolas kind of skids safely onto the cobblestones. The crowds flee. Now. There is no question about it. Death will possess anyone who stays on the steps of the Temple of Dan. Screams the birds fly up now. Any of these pigeons and these dark crows that remain now fly up into the sky. And you see those crows? Oh, there are a lot of them. And they are heading to Hewgill Castle. [00:19:14] Speaker E: Crows Friends of the Kenku or the. [00:19:23] Speaker A: Eric. I will award you inspiration. [00:19:29] Speaker E: They were friends of the Kenku. [00:19:32] Speaker B: Ah, Captain Kirk. [00:19:36] Speaker A: But yes, there seemed to be a about a dozen crows that are heading off Towards Hugill Castle. At the top of the order is who's 19? Three. One. Yeah. Bellic. [00:19:54] Speaker C: Yay. [00:19:57] Speaker D: Can I roll perception to see if the I notice a difference between how the golems taken the magic attacks and how he's taking the physical attacks. [00:20:07] Speaker A: You can use my favorite skill. [00:20:13] Speaker D: That's a NAT one. [00:20:15] Speaker A: Holy Hate perception belt leg to go. [00:20:21] Speaker B: Like it's so hard. [00:20:24] Speaker A: But you know. So you have no ability to focus right now on. On what you wanted to, which was. [00:20:32] Speaker D: To see if magic damage or physical damage affected the creature differently. [00:20:37] Speaker A: Right. You think of Zozo's purple flame. You think of the hellish rebuke. You think of Steve, you know, striking a resounding metal clank as he struck through the mud. [00:20:51] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:20:51] Speaker A: But nothing specific. [00:20:53] Speaker D: Cool. I'm gonna run up. Cause I don't wanna Eldritch blast this guy all over the place while Steve's on there. So I'm gonna run up and attack him with my hex blade. [00:21:06] Speaker A: Okay. What was your roll on AC17? That hits. [00:21:14] Speaker D: Alright, so that's not very much damage with the first hit. Just five Magic Slashing damage. [00:21:23] Speaker A: Oh, Steve. As you feel Beleg's polearm slash into the golem and. Oh, you took half his hand off. [00:21:35] Speaker F: Hey. [00:21:36] Speaker D: Okay, I'm gonna do my second attack now. [00:21:39] Speaker A: You do notice that this naturally armored clay golem is made up of armor plates beneath the clay. They are random though. It is not any sort of skin skeleton. It is as if somebody has patchwork applied subdermal plates. [00:22:03] Speaker D: All right. My second attack was a 19. So that hits as well. [00:22:06] Speaker A: Okay. [00:22:09] Speaker D: Same thing. Another two plus three. So five magic slashing damage. [00:22:13] Speaker A: Oh, there goes the rest of his hand. [00:22:17] Speaker D: Sucker. And I'll put bonus action to feel the button. [00:22:21] Speaker F: Okay. [00:22:22] Speaker D: Right in his nub. And that's a 16. So that hits two. [00:22:29] Speaker A: That also hits bludgeoning. [00:22:31] Speaker D: And that is also five magic bludgeoning damage. [00:22:36] Speaker A: Okay. You don't worry about whether I'm half in this. But you are chipping away. And off you go into the stump with your butt end of the dagari. And it is a disgusting sound. Yeah, Steve. Alright, you're up. And you now realize that arrow on which you have found your only purchase and your only thing to hang on to. It's like wedged between two of those subdermal armor plates. And you are tumbling. Steve tumbling down with the momentum as Beleg has slashed off the hand that was the deciding factor on the weight. This golem. And now he is crashing. Crashing forward. And you are riding the wave of clay as it engulfs and submerges Rook. [00:23:34] Speaker B: All right, I want to get into this lodestone thing real quick. [00:23:40] Speaker A: As it crashes down, Steve, the corporeal nature of this creature starts to fall apart. The plates and the arrow and the clay beneath you truly start to melt. [00:23:58] Speaker B: All right, I'm going to hunter's mark. The golem. [00:24:02] Speaker A: Okay. What's left of him. [00:24:05] Speaker B: Yeah. And I want to get that lodestone out. So I am. I am digging in to where. Where I think that lodestone is. [00:24:14] Speaker A: Like, what? Like, up to your elbows with daggers or what? [00:24:18] Speaker B: I have a short sword, so I can toss the daggers, draw the short sword, and if I need a little bit more length, that's what I'm digging in with. [00:24:29] Speaker A: Okay. [00:24:30] Speaker B: I've got a crowbar that's probably longer than a short sword, right? [00:24:34] Speaker A: Yes. You got a nice crowbar from the crossed axes. [00:24:39] Speaker B: Crowbar instead of short sword. Sorry. [00:24:41] Speaker A: Yeah, I don't know. What would you say? Do you want to roll an AC and deal damage at the same time? Sure. So roll on ac. [00:24:50] Speaker B: I'll use it like a weapon. Like, plunge it. Plunger deep in. [00:24:54] Speaker A: So B to 14. [00:24:58] Speaker B: How's that work? With two attacks? [00:25:00] Speaker A: Yeah. @ this point, sure. Yeah, absolutely. [00:25:04] Speaker B: That is an 8 plus 6 for 14 for the first attack. [00:25:07] Speaker A: Oh, well, guess what? It is right at the core, where you'd call the chest of this creature. But truly, there's no skeleton. It's all a mess of armor plating and clay, and immediately, your crowbar strikes home. [00:25:25] Speaker B: Sweet. Do I find sort of a purchase with it as far as being able to start prying it off? [00:25:30] Speaker A: Well, looks like the forked end of your crowbar has found its target. [00:25:37] Speaker B: I'm gonna. I'm gonna try and pull that. Pull that shit out. [00:25:40] Speaker A: I could. [00:25:41] Speaker B: I'll forego that second attack if I can just put as much roll up as possible. Oh, God. Okay. [00:25:50] Speaker A: There's, like, four feet of clay enveloping you, and you are cascading down towards the ground as this golem kind of tries to whip around. And its top torso is still totally intact. It's just missing a hand, missing a leg, and starting to fall in to rook. [00:26:14] Speaker B: Well, it's gonna miss a Loadstown soon, so here we go. [00:26:17] Speaker A: Oh, man. [00:26:18] Speaker B: Fucking went off. Ah, that's a 19 plus 4 for my strength check. [00:26:25] Speaker A: A 19 plus 4. So 23. [00:26:29] Speaker B: It should have been a 20, but it's a 19. 19 plus 4. [00:26:32] Speaker A: You know, I am a multiple five man, and 20 is a pretty good Threshold. And I think that at the moment you have retracted the stone. Steve, can you make a dexterity saving throw? Yes, Rook, can you make a dexterity saving throw? [00:26:56] Speaker B: That is a non natural 20 for Steve. [00:26:58] Speaker A: Okay. [00:27:00] Speaker C: Oh, I'm. I'm using inspo on that one. Oh yeah. So for rook at 17. [00:27:07] Speaker A: Okay. Old Foot. Old Foot has a minus one to Dex. That makes sense. Do you want to roll for Old Foot? [00:27:17] Speaker C: Old Foot? You would. Especially with his legs lack thereof. [00:27:25] Speaker A: A ten. Beleg, how close are you to this? [00:27:30] Speaker D: Ten feet away. [00:27:31] Speaker A: Okay, Kaitoa, how close are you? You must be within 5 or 10. [00:27:37] Speaker F: Oh yeah, I'm still at this guy's leg after I cut it off. [00:27:42] Speaker A: Okay, guys, you now see the whole lower half of this golem just disintegrate. But there is an upper torso that. That is flailing with giant fists. And these fists are the size of a horse and cart flailing around. So watch out. Whoever is next. Rook is an old foot and they are partially submerged. Steve, I think you have escaped this completely. [00:28:10] Speaker B: A backflip. [00:28:11] Speaker C: Yeah, my 17 didn't get me out of there. [00:28:16] Speaker A: What was old foot's total? [00:28:19] Speaker C: 10. [00:28:20] Speaker A: Okay, what is 10 plus 17? [00:28:23] Speaker F: 27. [00:28:24] Speaker A: And that's less than 30. [00:28:26] Speaker C: Damn it. All right. [00:28:28] Speaker A: Hey, I got a question. Does either of you have Oldfoot's yellow shield? [00:28:34] Speaker C: I've got the yellow shield. [00:28:36] Speaker A: Okay. But it's like it's strapped on. I thought maybe you've encased Oldfoot. Like you strapped the yellow shield onto him. Like he really is a turtle shell on your back? [00:28:46] Speaker C: Hell yeah. We're ninja Turtles, baby. [00:28:48] Speaker A: Could he be wielding the yellow shield? That would be sweet. [00:28:52] Speaker C: Yeah. Longbow from around the yellow shield all day long. [00:28:56] Speaker A: Yeah, exactly. I'll have to consult rules as written for that one. But you are just to make sure in combat you guys are carrying your full complement of gear, all your coin, all your equipment. [00:29:11] Speaker B: Always. Well, let's decent squaw. [00:29:14] Speaker C: I would add that Kaitoa has knitted me very nice straps for my yellow turtle shell. [00:29:22] Speaker A: Baby bunting. [00:29:24] Speaker F: Yeah, it's like a baby bjorn. [00:29:27] Speaker C: Yeah, exactly. [00:29:28] Speaker A: Oh, that's candid. [00:29:29] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:29:31] Speaker A: Okay now Zozo, I don't even need to ask. You are away from the disintegrating. Are you up in the air? I got a little dot next to you. [00:29:39] Speaker E: Yep. Yeah, I'm still up in the air. [00:29:40] Speaker A: From above this whole thing and. Oh, it is you, Rook. Can you make a constitution saving throw as mud fills your lungs? [00:29:51] Speaker C: Oh, that sounds nice. Sounds very spa like that's spa treatment. Well, that is a 15. [00:30:06] Speaker A: Okay. As you sputter, your Orcish resilience is serving you well. And you manage to force the mud, you know, out through your nose. But you're still trapped by a ton of debris and the whole weight of this thing coming down on you. You have a free action. You have an attack. I'd say probably. Actually, you have two attacks. You can attack what is confounding you. [00:30:37] Speaker C: Well, I guess I'll have to do that. [00:30:39] Speaker A: Okay, roll on AC. Beat that 14. [00:30:43] Speaker C: Oh, that's a 15. [00:30:45] Speaker A: Just nice damage. [00:30:48] Speaker C: Nine plus six. I'm guessing I'm using my long sword here. Be a six plus five. Let's three. 14. [00:30:59] Speaker A: 14 total. You stab at the weight of this horrible thing coming down at you. Anything else in your move? [00:31:11] Speaker C: Can I swim? [00:31:13] Speaker A: Sure. With your final gasp here, roll Athletics. [00:31:18] Speaker C: I like athletics. [00:31:21] Speaker B: Yeah, I do like athletics. [00:31:23] Speaker C: I guess I'm gonna jump and swim. Do you want me to do acro and athletics? Oh, that is amazing. That's an at 20 on athletics. 23. [00:31:34] Speaker A: What stroke do you use? [00:31:37] Speaker C: This is gonna be a free stroke. Normally I would go for the elegant. [00:31:42] Speaker A: Butterfly, but you are propelling yourself, Rook. No elegant butterfly for you. You are just freestyling it upwards. You propel yourself, and then I will roll for. Hey, you got a little propeller behind you. It's old foot. Yes. [00:32:05] Speaker C: I would add that I would be using my blades as grips too. I'd be kind of shanking them into any sort of solid ground propeller. [00:32:15] Speaker B: Like sound effects as Rook is doing this. [00:32:22] Speaker A: Well, party, there is a bubbling. There is a bubbling and Steve, right beneath your feet, Rook and Oldfoot explode out of the back of the golem. Rook, Oldfoot. Fourteen, that is you. Thirteen, that is Kaitoa. There is the upper torso of this golem felled 90%, but there remains a bag of hit points. [00:32:56] Speaker F: All right. Does he still have a head? [00:33:00] Speaker A: Yes. [00:33:02] Speaker F: Well, I'm gonna try and chop his head off. [00:33:05] Speaker A: Okay. He still reaches and flails Steve on his back. Roll on ac. [00:33:11] Speaker E: Okay, what's happening with the. The construct parts? [00:33:15] Speaker F: Yeah, what's going on with those all. [00:33:17] Speaker A: Along, Kaitoa, these things have been animating behind you. As long as that amulet is not hidden away. They're like a little cloud of parts. [00:33:29] Speaker F: But they're not doing anything. Okay. They might defend me, so. Okay, I'm gonna Reckless attack. I'm gonna. Great weapon. Master this. So this attack is a natty 20. Sick. [00:33:51] Speaker A: That's double your damage, Dice. [00:33:53] Speaker F: Yep. [00:33:54] Speaker A: Oh, and hey, Zozo, can you roll A quick preemptive. What's that comment you made? Either wisdom or intelligence. [00:34:03] Speaker E: Okay, it's 14. Okay. [00:34:08] Speaker A: Okay, I'll hold that. [00:34:10] Speaker F: So Tomo, I double everything for that. Right? [00:34:14] Speaker B: So on a crit, you. [00:34:16] Speaker A: You. [00:34:16] Speaker B: So you were doubling. You're doubling the dicey roll. [00:34:19] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:34:21] Speaker A: And now you're damage dice. But not the modifiers. [00:34:27] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:34:27] Speaker B: Okay, not the modifiers. Yeah. [00:34:29] Speaker F: So 10 and a 12. Awesome. So 22 plus seven, which is 29. Plus another 10 for great weapon mastery. So that's 39. Yeah. And he's gotta save on a. He's gonna save a con 12. [00:34:55] Speaker A: Okay, here we go. [00:34:56] Speaker F: So that's 39. [00:34:58] Speaker A: Oh, he. He actually doesn't save the con for the first time. [00:35:02] Speaker F: Oh, so a two thunder damage. [00:35:06] Speaker A: A little burst of thunder. [00:35:08] Speaker F: 41 on the first hit. Yay for my second hit. That doesn't. Oh, yeah, never mind. A 17 plus one. 18. That hits. What was I at? 39. [00:35:27] Speaker B: You're at 41 points. [00:35:29] Speaker F: 41 plus another 18. 59. Yeah. And that one doesn't get the great weapon mastery, right? Yeah. [00:35:43] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. [00:35:43] Speaker B: No, they both do. Every hit. You do it, man. Yep. [00:35:46] Speaker F: Okay, so add another. [00:35:47] Speaker B: The minus five to hit. [00:35:49] Speaker F: Yeah. Right. So what is that you said? [00:35:52] Speaker A: 59 plus another 10. [00:35:54] Speaker F: 69. 69. And then with great weapon mastery, if a target reaches zero or criter attack as a bonus. So I just get an extra attack, no mods. [00:36:11] Speaker B: Oh, you can do it. You can do a whole extra attack. Whatever attack you want. You get an extra attack as a bonus action. [00:36:19] Speaker F: But the great weapon mastery isn't on it again, is it? [00:36:22] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, it is. It totally is. [00:36:24] Speaker C: Oh yeah, You. [00:36:25] Speaker B: I mean, you've reckless attacks, so any attacks that round are. Are on advantage. Yeah, even the ones you get from great weapon. [00:36:33] Speaker A: Keep the tally going, buddy. [00:36:36] Speaker F: We're at 69. I believe it's 16 hits. [00:36:41] Speaker A: Yes. [00:36:42] Speaker F: All right, so another D12, which is an 8 plus 7. So 13. No, sorry. 8 plus 7. So 15 plus 10. So another 25. [00:36:59] Speaker B: 69 plus 25. [00:37:01] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:37:02] Speaker B: 94. [00:37:03] Speaker A: 94. 94. [00:37:05] Speaker F: And then another votag on top of that. [00:37:08] Speaker A: Okay, that's a two. [00:37:11] Speaker F: Okay. D8 thunder. [00:37:14] Speaker A: So God, I've wrote a lot of extremely low out of 1 3twos tonight. [00:37:22] Speaker F: I'm sure I missed something, but yeah, that was a lot of hits. [00:37:27] Speaker A: Okay, well, Kaitoa, I would suggest that it has not taken three blows to cleave the head off this clay golem. [00:37:38] Speaker F: At like 90 something. Death 5 damage. Sweet. [00:37:45] Speaker D: Yeah, bud. [00:37:46] Speaker A: And the thrill of battle and your Pneumatic pressure comes straight down and you take the head right off. [00:37:58] Speaker F: I think that's the first time I've ever critted on great weapon mastery. And that is insane. [00:38:04] Speaker D: Feels good. Done it. [00:38:06] Speaker F: That is unreal. [00:38:08] Speaker B: An intense amount of damage. Man. [00:38:11] Speaker E: Let's make this guy into bricks and fix that wall. [00:38:14] Speaker F: Unreal. Let's rebuild this city. [00:38:20] Speaker A: Rebuild this city. Well, you connect way down through to the cobblestones. Kaitoa with modog. [00:38:30] Speaker F: Yeah. That was disgusting. [00:38:35] Speaker B: It's a savage amount of damage though, man. Holy. [00:38:39] Speaker A: And party. That is where we will have to leave you tonight. Until the next time on Dungeons and Blackguards. Sa. [00:39:54] Speaker F: I can't wait to hear that again. Just so I can add that up one more time. [00:39:58] Speaker B: Jesus Christ. [00:40:02] Speaker F: Yeah, like a D12 plus 7 plus 10, but crit, like. Yeah, well, you'll be. [00:40:13] Speaker B: You'll be rolling an extra die on top of that on crits too, which is nice. [00:40:19] Speaker F: Sorry. [00:40:19] Speaker B: When at level nine, barbarians on crits get an extra. So you. You double the dice and you add another die in the same way that like the. The half orc gets that thing on Chris. [00:40:29] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:40:29] Speaker D: Does that stack with your half orc too? You have four die. [00:40:32] Speaker B: I wish. [00:40:34] Speaker A: So. [00:40:34] Speaker B: I don't know. I need to really look into that. [00:40:36] Speaker F: But that's. [00:40:38] Speaker B: It'd be awesome if it did add to it. That was cumulative. [00:40:45] Speaker C: They're just all sacrifices to Dan. Dan's gonna be a very happy God. [00:40:51] Speaker A: I don't think Dan takes sacrifices, dude. He's pretty chill. [00:40:55] Speaker C: He does now. [00:40:57] Speaker B: Yeah, if he was. [00:41:01] Speaker A: Oh, and on that note, I gotta sign it. I got an early morning tomorrow. [00:41:04] Speaker B: God, if Dan really cared, he would have saved them. [00:41:12] Speaker A: Wow. Good times, guys. [00:41:15] Speaker C: That was a good one. [00:41:15] Speaker F: All right. [00:41:16] Speaker C: That was a good one. [00:41:18] Speaker D: All right. [00:41:18] Speaker B: Night. [00:41:19] Speaker F: Later, bud. [00:41:20] Speaker A: Later.
