[00:00:17] Speaker B: I am playing Steve Tehuman. Level 5 Gloomstalker. Ranger Fighter, Level 2, Rogue, Level 1. I have an owl. [00:00:27] Speaker A: Brandon. [00:00:29] Speaker C: I am ikirut Puisla, Level 8 Blood Hunter, half orc. And I have breast enhancements. [00:00:39] Speaker A: Brayden. [00:00:40] Speaker D: Hey, I'm Braden. I play Beleague Degar, half elf. Hexblade warlock, level eight, Eric. [00:00:48] Speaker E: I'm Eric. I play Dr. Zozo brightfeather, a level eight narakocra artificer. [00:00:54] Speaker A: And last but not least, Caleb. [00:00:59] Speaker F: I am the construct Kaitoa Tata. And I'm a level eight war forged barbarian. [00:01:11] Speaker A: Previously on Dungeons and Blackguards. [00:01:17] Speaker F: What do I got? I got 21 and. Ooh, 20? What is that? 24 for attack. [00:01:27] Speaker A: Can you roll damage on that artist ads? [00:01:32] Speaker F: Yeah, and I. The weapon description didn't say anything about what it would do for damage. [00:01:39] Speaker A: It's a Warhammer 1D10. [00:01:41] Speaker F: Oh, one D10. Okay. Oh, take the D10. I was thinking it would be an ax of some sort, but one D10 plus, what do I got? I got an 11 to damage an 8 plus 3. [00:01:57] Speaker A: Oh boy. [00:01:59] Speaker F: And hopefully it leaves a color mark with some good. [00:02:03] Speaker A: It does leave a color mark. [00:02:05] Speaker F: Can I see it or does it also become invisible? [00:02:09] Speaker A: What color do you think you have dealt with this ads? [00:02:14] Speaker D: The color of blood. [00:02:18] Speaker F: I'm gonna go with a really flamboyant pink. [00:02:21] Speaker A: Oh, sweet. There is an explosion of pink on the body of clearly the form latched onto Beleg here. And then an explosion of viscera and entrails in green and black and pink all against the wall right at the water level. So of course half of it is sprayed up against the wall. And beleg you are sprayed. It is all up your front and tunic. And in rigor mortis, this lizard creature who has now remained invisible is latched onto you. [00:03:12] Speaker F: But he's now pink. Right, so we have this just color floating around. [00:03:16] Speaker A: Yes. [00:03:17] Speaker D: Well, he didn't last long. [00:03:21] Speaker E: Okay, I guess he wasn't the boss. [00:03:24] Speaker F: So I assume it's dead. [00:03:27] Speaker B: No, Kaitoa is the boss. Kaitoa is the daddy. [00:03:32] Speaker F: So Robin that killed it, Kaitoa. [00:03:35] Speaker A: As far as you can tell, this creature has been sliced in half by because the artist adds, here is a powerful weapon and you just beat a path right through it. [00:03:48] Speaker F: Okay, so much for that. [00:03:52] Speaker A: You can see the pink has coated maybe with the just the tail End of your move. There is this strange headdress that you can now see. Well coated in the magical pink. [00:04:05] Speaker F: Well, I have a bonus action still. [00:04:09] Speaker A: Sure. [00:04:11] Speaker F: Can I reach out and grab it? [00:04:12] Speaker A: You could totally rip it off. And it now rests tiny in your hand. [00:04:19] Speaker F: You just like, put it on my fist like a little hat. Pump it around. [00:04:25] Speaker A: And you are doing the dangle. [00:04:27] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:04:29] Speaker A: So what do you feel? Maybe it's time to roll a strength check just to make sure you're still hanging there. [00:04:34] Speaker F: I'd love to. [00:04:35] Speaker A: I. I would love to. And then we're gonna see the belleg pink all up your front eviscera mix. [00:04:44] Speaker F: Oh, non natty. Or it's a 15 plus 6. [00:04:48] Speaker A: Not 90. 20. Non natty. 21. [00:04:50] Speaker F: Yeah. Not natty 20. [00:04:51] Speaker A: Gorgeous. Buddy. I'll even. Since you cracked a 20, I'll even say you are where you want to be. [00:04:59] Speaker F: I'm gonna hop back up. [00:05:03] Speaker A: Sweet. [00:05:05] Speaker F: Just dangle hack. Grab a little hat. Jump back up. [00:05:12] Speaker A: Belleg. [00:05:13] Speaker D: I'm gonna kill my concentration. Try to end hunger. Vidar. The concentration which takes no action to end a concentration spell. [00:05:22] Speaker A: This is something that you just do one of those things you don't roll on. Okay, so how should we handle this? Can you roll a fateful D4? [00:05:30] Speaker D: That's a 2. [00:05:32] Speaker A: The concentration is severed successfully. Felig dagar yay. And hungar persists. [00:05:42] Speaker D: Oh, wait. So I'm not controlling it anymore? [00:05:50] Speaker A: Who can say? [00:05:52] Speaker C: Used to sing. [00:05:55] Speaker A: I don't. [00:05:56] Speaker D: I don't want the hadar to be here. I want it to be over. [00:05:59] Speaker B: Have you done? [00:06:00] Speaker F: Then hadar off. [00:06:04] Speaker D: I can do that. It's within my abilities. [00:06:07] Speaker B: Adar, you're full. Go home. [00:06:09] Speaker F: They keep bringing me noodles. I'm. [00:06:12] Speaker D: You're not hungry anymore? I have satisfied you. [00:06:19] Speaker A: Beleg as you say that aloud. And party. You're now hearing beleg. You know. Exclaim these please for the cessation of Hadar. There is anything else in your move? [00:06:35] Speaker D: I'm gonna try and slough off the rigor mortis part of me. [00:06:40] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. [00:06:42] Speaker D: And then try and propel myself off as much as I could. [00:06:45] Speaker A: You wanna kick him off One strength to kick that kobold torso top off a strength check. Mm. [00:06:55] Speaker D: I can do that. So I. I climb up zozo. I'm on the ground and I try to kick rigor mortis off. [00:07:03] Speaker A: Oh, you've crept up with his top torso. Ooh, I love it. Yeah, Definitely roll strength for that. I thought you tried to kick him off like a tight boot into the rushing canal. [00:07:14] Speaker D: No, no. I want to climb up Zozo. [00:07:17] Speaker A: Oh, Zozo. Oh, zozo. You are painted with eviscera and entra, the magical pink. Yeah, yeah. Anything else in your move? Belak the strength roll? [00:07:36] Speaker D: Yeah, sure. [00:07:38] Speaker A: Used half your movement. [00:07:40] Speaker D: Yeah, I don't really care to move too much further. I'm by my buddies. I'd still like to raise a specter, just for fun. [00:07:47] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, sure, buddy. I'm just waiting for you to snap your fingers. [00:07:51] Speaker D: I've been wanting to the whole time. Yeah, I raise a specter. [00:07:55] Speaker A: Okay. [00:07:57] Speaker D: Are we out of initiative? [00:07:59] Speaker A: I mean, at the moment, the torso is not reanimating. [00:08:04] Speaker D: Okay. I have to roll initiative for this vector. But if. But it also sticks around until the. Till the next long rest, so. [00:08:13] Speaker A: Oh, that's until the next long rest. That could be months for you guys. [00:08:18] Speaker D: Yep. Or until it dies. [00:08:21] Speaker A: Is this guy gonna compete with Rook's unseen servant for the guy on the couch? [00:08:28] Speaker D: No, no, no. The specter sleeps with me. [00:08:31] Speaker A: Well, then. Sorry. The strength roll was 13. Oh, no. Rigor mortis. Kobold. Wyrm priest is 15. [00:08:42] Speaker D: Well, he's a. He's a strong little bugger. [00:08:46] Speaker A: Damn. So it's all still happening, guys. You know, Rookie, you're assessing the scene. There are now crowds on the north and the south side of this canal bridge. Hadar has now engulfed a little bit of the actual banks of this canal. And now the railing begins to be consumed. [00:09:09] Speaker D: Does Belly have any idea what the fuck is why he can't turn it off? [00:09:13] Speaker F: Someone go get Memorial. [00:09:15] Speaker A: Belak you. You would have to help me out narratively. [00:09:18] Speaker G: What would you do? [00:09:19] Speaker A: What would you consult as. As you lay here wet and soggy and pink? [00:09:26] Speaker D: He's at a loss. These are all things that are completely within his power to do. The only thing that he'd probably look at his tattoo, but that's about it. [00:09:37] Speaker A: Okay, as you look down at your tattoo and I guess, I suppose your sleeve is rolled up. I'm gonna preserve initiative. Just so we work through everybody. Rook and Zozo will essentially end it. Right? Yeah. [00:09:52] Speaker E: Okay. [00:09:53] Speaker A: So, old foot on your back. Not a big help anymore, as combat has concluded. And. What's up, Rook? [00:10:02] Speaker C: The crowd is still not advancing. [00:10:04] Speaker E: Right. [00:10:05] Speaker A: They are running this way and that. Just as this sphere begins to actually expand, you know, now it's expanding upwards and outwards. So now it's probably 15ft larger than it should be in diameter. So just as you look at the crowds, Rook, they do start running. [00:10:28] Speaker C: Well, I'm gonna move. And then. Which Direction are they running? [00:10:33] Speaker A: Well, the crowds that were congregating on the southern bank are running back down towards the quartermaster's barracks. The crowds on the northern bank are running back north towards Pol Plaza. [00:10:45] Speaker E: Okay, so they're not running towards it. Okay. [00:10:48] Speaker A: Unless you tell me different. Rook, you are caught on the south side, and all the rest of the party is on the north side. Is that right? [00:10:57] Speaker C: It is, yeah. I'm gonna move myself. Let's see here. Let's go this way about 30ft. Crowds moving away, and I'm gonna yell all across the river. How are we gonna get this thing under control? [00:11:16] Speaker F: Mem. [00:11:17] Speaker C: Mem's gone, all right. [00:11:20] Speaker D: Fuck mem. He doesn't. He doesn't know warlock shit anyways. [00:11:25] Speaker B: He hates warlock shit, I guess. Steve just kind of looks over at Belly. [00:11:32] Speaker D: Well, yeah. [00:11:36] Speaker B: Dark slurping oh, boy. [00:11:40] Speaker G: Yeah. [00:11:41] Speaker C: I don't know what to really do here other than kind of look to Belly to get his under control. [00:11:49] Speaker A: Okay, what is projecting your voice? What would that be? [00:11:54] Speaker D: My voice? [00:11:55] Speaker C: No, it will be my Stone of Near speech. [00:11:59] Speaker A: Oh, clever. Oh, that's right. But does Beleg have the other one? [00:12:04] Speaker D: Yep. [00:12:05] Speaker A: Oh, you are full of stones of various distances of speech. [00:12:09] Speaker D: I have two stones. [00:12:12] Speaker A: You got the far speech too. Okay, so, Bellak, you hear Rook say, get your together fucking trying. And Rook, sorry. As you spin around. And now Oldfoot is facing the crowd. There are gasps. Oldfoot in all his glory, on your back. [00:12:33] Speaker C: Can I actually. As they see that, I'm gonna wake up Oldfoot and turn him to the hunger of Hadar and say, ask him what his opinion is or any suggestions on getting this thing under control. [00:12:51] Speaker A: Oh, clever. And so he didn't do much other than be noticed in his move. Okay, so then we're gonna hit Zozo, and then we're out of initiative. Guys, the half Orc here, consulting the Caddy now on more than weapons choice, but some sort of way to assuage the ever expanding sphere of Adar. Grow up. [00:13:15] Speaker G: Ah. I finally hit a four. Oh, that means I know something. I know something noble. [00:13:26] Speaker A: Half Orc. Yes. Terrible magic's here. Forbidden, but still present in our world. [00:13:36] Speaker G: Banish it. Who among your party banish thirsts? [00:13:44] Speaker C: How do we end it? [00:13:47] Speaker G: Only the elves know how. They say that if the elves still persist, they still hold back the Eldritch horrors beyond the Feywild fold. So I don't know. It's making me hungry. I want noodles now. I hear they had them in Shintadou. Although I've never been. [00:14:13] Speaker B: Smoked, broth. [00:14:15] Speaker A: And Zozo, this party now seems to have lost control of a major spell event. What is your analysis? [00:14:28] Speaker E: I think I would like to investigate the situation. [00:14:32] Speaker A: Can you roll investigation? [00:14:34] Speaker E: All right, so that's 21. [00:14:40] Speaker A: Okay. Yeah. [00:14:42] Speaker E: I want to investigate Beleg and the. [00:14:45] Speaker F: The. [00:14:45] Speaker E: The spell and try to figure out what's going on. [00:14:48] Speaker A: Yes. So those are the particular parts you'd. You'd want to investigate. Well, as you well know, Dr. Zozo, Brightfeather, elves are extinct. Ancient history. What beings remain in the material plane have some lineage, some elvish lineage are somewhat common. But to find a half elf. And what's more, a magic user. This war caster. And so I suppose. Can I ask you to roll history as well? [00:15:30] Speaker E: Okay. [00:15:31] Speaker A: If you're. If you're going along this vein. [00:15:33] Speaker E: Oh, that's a 24 with a crit. [00:15:37] Speaker A: Also over 24 to crit. You have read a sacred tome. And you will know, Dr. Zozo. You know the tales that the elves do persist and recruit to fight their enemies. They recruit from the material plane and create armies of spell casting half elves held in bondage in the Feywild fold, drugged and sedated and kept in perpetual ignorance of their condition as cannon fodder. And this is one of your goals. To discover the source of red frog. Dr. Zozo. [00:16:28] Speaker E: Okay. [00:16:29] Speaker A: This drug, you know, has been all of a sudden found in the alchemists guild's circles. It seems to exist in many forms. But most potent in a gaseous form. It could knock out hundreds of people in an enclosed space. Space. It could be administered by a dart. It could be slipped into a drink. In low doses, euphoria. In deeper doses, depression. And further still, temporary amnesia. [00:17:05] Speaker E: Okay. [00:17:08] Speaker D: Red Frog. [00:17:12] Speaker E: Okay. [00:17:13] Speaker A: As you stand there, you begin to feel the eyes of the crowds who have remained congregated on the northern side of the canal bridge here. [00:17:24] Speaker E: Mm. Can we be sure that there aren't any other invisible kobolds hanging around? [00:17:33] Speaker F: The only thing that gave that guy away was his little like bone rattle. [00:17:37] Speaker E: Exactly. [00:17:40] Speaker A: Rob. [00:17:41] Speaker B: Once. Once. Steve feels like he's under a decent amount of stealth. He can use his track humanoid skill. I'm gonna look for. Look for little other kobolds. [00:17:53] Speaker F: Look for him. [00:17:54] Speaker B: I'm gonna go into my little. My little to human trance. [00:18:00] Speaker D: Belak's still trying to look at his tattoo. [00:18:05] Speaker F: Really bugging me staring at it. I want to know what's in that boat. [00:18:12] Speaker E: I think the boat's gone. [00:18:14] Speaker B: Yeah, that boat has been at. [00:18:16] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:18:17] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:18:18] Speaker C: Oh yeah. Let that sleeping dog Lie. [00:18:20] Speaker F: I know, Ricky. [00:18:23] Speaker C: Pull it out and there's a boss man on. [00:18:26] Speaker E: I could take a look at that headdress. [00:18:28] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:18:29] Speaker F: I'll pitch the the old headdress to you. [00:18:32] Speaker E: Okay. I will use identify on it as. [00:18:38] Speaker A: You turn it over in your hands. It is indeed the hollowed out inside of a medium sized badger's skull. And there are feathers pushed into the sort of layer between the bone and the skin and the fur which is still intact. It's sort of been in embalmed in a very interesting way with something. Ooh, what is this? Some sort of oily honey. [00:19:09] Speaker F: Badger mask? [00:19:11] Speaker D: Chris Flicks. [00:19:12] Speaker B: One of Chris Flick's owners, perhaps? [00:19:14] Speaker D: Yeah. I still haven't been told what my tattoo looks like. [00:19:20] Speaker A: Sorry, Steve. I'll award you inspiration. [00:19:25] Speaker B: Yay. [00:19:25] Speaker A: And very sorry for cutting you off, Belak. Very sorry. [00:19:28] Speaker D: No worries. [00:19:30] Speaker A: And now the invisibility spell is dissipating and it is revealed to be, you know, a tangible, material object. What was your goal here? What do you want to know? [00:19:44] Speaker E: I want to find out if this headdress is what was causing the invisibility or if it causes other. It has magical properties. [00:19:55] Speaker C: Basically. [00:19:56] Speaker A: I feel like that would be an arcana roll. Arcana check, please. [00:19:59] Speaker E: Okay. 19. [00:20:03] Speaker A: When you're assessing the arcane elements of this little mask, what are you drawing on? [00:20:10] Speaker E: I think it's kind of like an education in arcane subjects. It was a well rounded education. [00:20:21] Speaker A: Okay. [00:20:22] Speaker E: Yeah. I think she did a lot of studying various magics. And in addition to the alchemy, you're. [00:20:29] Speaker A: Pursuing a different angle entirely. And what is revealed to you here is that this mask does not cast invisibility. Someone was casting invisibility on the person who wore the mask. [00:20:45] Speaker F: So is there someone around watching? Like we do a Can Solas do like a swoop around? [00:20:52] Speaker D: We'll know in a minute. [00:20:54] Speaker A: Katoa, can you roll a wisdom check? [00:20:57] Speaker F: Okay. [00:20:58] Speaker A: Or intelligence? Whichever's higher. [00:21:01] Speaker F: They both suck. Okay. [00:21:03] Speaker A: Actually. [00:21:04] Speaker E: Ooh. [00:21:04] Speaker F: 18. [00:21:05] Speaker G: Oh. [00:21:06] Speaker F: 17 plus one for wisdom. Just thinking about like, well, if someone's casting this on them, they be in the crowd around. Maybe we should start like sending Stolas around or do a quick spread out and try and find anyone suspicious in the area. [00:21:25] Speaker A: So what your wisdom roll. So how would I describe this? You feel like when you were riding the log ride there through Hadar, which still expands and eats the cobblestones behind you in this moment, you feel that the casters are dead. You feel like the crew of kobolds were probably intercasting between each other. [00:21:57] Speaker D: Can Belak try and regain concentration on Hadar. Absolutely I do. [00:22:06] Speaker A: Can you roll AD4? [00:22:10] Speaker D: Yeah, that's a one. [00:22:15] Speaker A: Oh boy. Hadar increases by 20ft diameter. [00:22:23] Speaker F: Holy Jesus. [00:22:24] Speaker D: K, do I get the feeling that I'm the cause of Hadar increasing? How long has this been? Because if it's been over a minute, then the Hadar would have stopped at. [00:22:37] Speaker A: I wasn't like, probably around now is when Beleg would also be ultra concerned. [00:22:46] Speaker D: Yeah, that's like me adding my own insight to it. [00:22:52] Speaker A: You have lost control of the reigns. [00:22:57] Speaker G: The reigns of the spell. [00:23:01] Speaker D: I. I want. I keep concentrating on that, then I want to wrestle that spell back in. More importantly, I want to know what the fuck magic source is keeping it alive. [00:23:16] Speaker A: I see. [00:23:18] Speaker D: Like this. This spell should be over if I'm the only one that's controlling the spell. [00:23:23] Speaker A: And what you see, Beleg, is a strange symbol. Your tattoo turns into an M shape or a sine wave, and your tattoo morphs into this. [00:23:37] Speaker D: Can you draw a little representation of it and throw it in the chat? [00:23:41] Speaker A: Yeah, sure. Boom. It's a McDonald's arch. [00:23:45] Speaker B: Are you loving it? [00:23:47] Speaker D: Okay, so my tattoo looks like a flattened McDicks logo. [00:23:52] Speaker A: Beleg in this moment. Then you would hear probably a whisper in your ears. He's nuts. What a story. [00:24:06] Speaker G: How does it end? [00:24:10] Speaker D: Oh, Bella. Probably just yells. [00:24:12] Speaker A: You and Bellock. [00:24:15] Speaker E: Are you talking to me? [00:24:16] Speaker A: Yelling, huh? Pardon me Belak. As you yell out, Hadar begins to recede. What? [00:24:29] Speaker E: I tried yelling at it too. [00:24:31] Speaker F: Fuck you, Hadar. [00:24:34] Speaker H: Fuck you. [00:24:36] Speaker F: We're not afraid anymore. [00:24:38] Speaker A: PARTY yells in UNISON There doesn't seem to be an effect. But there was a reduction bell, like when you lashed out of about five feet in diameter. And. And Rook, you're on the south side there. As you look back over there, Rook, you hear again this voice in your mind. [00:25:03] Speaker G: Ebruk, this bird creature. Stay with them. [00:25:10] Speaker C: I'll keep him close. [00:25:12] Speaker G: Alchemy and blood magic. It's only being rediscovered. [00:25:20] Speaker A: Good to know. [00:25:22] Speaker F: Hey, Beleg, keep up the hate speech. [00:25:27] Speaker A: Kaitoa, you lend the help action to Beleg, who I'm gonna ask to make a performance roll. [00:25:34] Speaker D: Oh, fuck. Beleg is vain and doesn't like losing and does not want to risk. Oh, fuck. He sees that to fix the situation, he has to like, look like he's having a fucking mental breakdown and he doesn't like it. [00:25:49] Speaker F: Beleg, your dad was right about you. [00:25:55] Speaker D: You have no idea. [00:26:01] Speaker F: Does that hit home? [00:26:03] Speaker D: Yes. That was a 10 plus 3 13. [00:26:07] Speaker A: Oh, that's with the help. [00:26:11] Speaker D: Do I get advantage with the help, you get advantage. [00:26:13] Speaker A: If somebody's helping you, that's not 20. [00:26:16] Speaker E: Yay. [00:26:19] Speaker A: Okay, Beleg. Well, whatever you shout next is going to reduce Hadar. What do you do? [00:26:32] Speaker D: I don't. I don't yell as loud. I just go, fuck you. And I tense up everywhere. [00:26:42] Speaker A: You reach out your fist. And now as you close your fist tightly, it winks out of the material plane. [00:26:53] Speaker D: I lower my head and walk away from anybody that's close to me. [00:27:00] Speaker A: Okay. You have incurred one level of exhaustion Beleg dagar as the energy here that you've expended, you know, has been successful. That you are assured the spell is now closed off. [00:27:19] Speaker F: Is there anything left of the boat? [00:27:23] Speaker A: Well, so. Yes. Yes, there would be the crumpled, crippled remains of the boat. Sunken, you know, for sure. [00:27:32] Speaker F: Can I grab the grappling rope and heave it up? [00:27:37] Speaker A: You'd have to use your eagle eyes to pierce the surging waters of the canal. [00:27:43] Speaker F: Yeah, I could do that. [00:27:44] Speaker A: Roll a perception with advantage. [00:27:47] Speaker F: Okay, suck party. [00:27:50] Speaker A: You now see Kaitoa reaching over the railing that you guys just, you know, clambered up. And thank goodness, now the crowds have mostly dispersed. A few, maybe a third of them, Rook, remain around you on the south side. And guys, maybe there's, you know, a dozen faces looking on in shock. [00:28:16] Speaker F: That's a non natty 24. [00:28:19] Speaker A: You haul this thing up, no problem. And before you know it, Kaito is hauled up in proportion to him. This tiny little kobold rowing boat. [00:28:28] Speaker F: Sweet. Am I able to crack it open? [00:28:32] Speaker A: Well, this is not the first time that the party has encountered the clamshell. You know, the piano hinge way that these little armored skull rowing boats open. And boy, zozo, this is piquing your curiosity because of course, coming over to check this out. Well, not only. Not only that, you have seen these boats docking on the northern shore of the island of Boolean. [00:29:05] Speaker F: So let's shuck this oyster. [00:29:08] Speaker A: Okay. Three quarters of it has already been ripped apart, but there is almost like a crumpled car wreck. Kaitoa, there's a part of it that's still must contain something. [00:29:20] Speaker F: Okay, Jaws of life. Can I use my axe to like, hack into it and then like pry it open as if I'm shucking an oyster. [00:29:30] Speaker A: Yeah. Which weapon would you use? [00:29:33] Speaker F: Good call. Yeah, let's use Vodog. [00:29:36] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:29:37] Speaker B: Yeah. Go big homie. [00:29:40] Speaker A: And Rook, as you, you know, manage crowd control on the southern side, of course, Engo is now facing the party. And now that the slurping of Hadar has ceased, it's a beautiful morning and birds are coming out to chirp Immediately to fill the horror that has retracted from this plane. What a change. The clamshell. What weapon? I suppose like almost like attack this thing on AC. I've always had an AC for this thing. [00:30:12] Speaker F: I got 17 no problem. [00:30:15] Speaker A: And it is like the jaws of life. You wedge bodog in there and a little spark of lightning comes off of it as you crack it open. And it is gruesome. Inside it is all waterlogged. There's about four kobold bodies of varying type. And there is a third type of kobold in here, fellows. A different type of kobold. And it seems indeed like there is another kobold caster in here. Not a priest. But this one is arrayed like a wizard. And he has a little cloak. And he has a little pouch. [00:30:59] Speaker F: Aw, can I. Oh. [00:31:02] Speaker D: With stingers in it and black stones. [00:31:04] Speaker F: Can I search his little pouch? [00:31:07] Speaker A: Well, there is an empathetic awe from Zozo. As beleg, I will award you inspiration. Because Kaitoa, as you open this pouch, it is full of little miniature components. Like what are these lodestones? What are these dandelion heads? What's this wasp and be an insect parts. There is a whole array of little satchels within satchels. This seems like some ultimate kobold worm wizard. [00:31:50] Speaker F: Can anyone make use of this or identify this shit? [00:31:55] Speaker E: Yeah, I'll take a look at it. [00:31:57] Speaker F: All right. I toss in the little sack and I also take off his cloak and inspect it. [00:32:08] Speaker A: Oh, the cloak. [00:32:09] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:32:10] Speaker A: Well, Zozo, you can roll as you inspect each individual component. [00:32:16] Speaker E: Okay. I rolled a 24 for investigate. [00:32:20] Speaker A: Have Zozo identified the plant and material based components of a kobold wizard? And you feel like these could be very useful to you. [00:32:38] Speaker E: Okay. I. I pick through it, Find the useful stuff. Or I throw out anything that's, you know, waterlogged or wrecked and then keep the rest. [00:32:50] Speaker A: Okay. Do you want to ring the pouch? [00:32:53] Speaker F: Sure. [00:32:53] Speaker A: Yeah. Okay. So as you ring the pouch and most of its contents seem to be a little waterlogged, but they'll dry out. You can add that to your character sheet. And this is a kobold wyrm wizard component spell pouch. [00:33:12] Speaker E: Okay. [00:33:13] Speaker A: Mm. Especially those lodestones. Very curious. These black opalescent lodestones. They're a five of them. [00:33:25] Speaker E: Okay. Can I look at those more closely? [00:33:28] Speaker A: Well, as you attempt to do so, There are some cries from the crowd. [00:33:34] Speaker E: What's going on? [00:33:38] Speaker F: I don't think they like bird. [00:33:40] Speaker A: And there are the always cacophonous sometimes stupid cries from the citizenry of Polb. And over. Oh, boy, Rook, are you ever dealing with that? They're beginning to kind of crowd around you and Ango. What are you doing down there? [00:33:58] Speaker C: I'm going to tell them to disperse from the area and let us handle the situation like we normally do. [00:34:07] Speaker A: Very well. What would you roll? [00:34:10] Speaker C: Ooh, I'm guessing Persuasion. Okay, yeah, Persuasion. I don't have to guess. That's definitely. Oh, and that's a 21. [00:34:26] Speaker A: Okay, you got angle on your back there. Because let's hope he doesn't undermine the whole effort here. [00:34:33] Speaker C: I'm gonna knock him out before he can. [00:34:35] Speaker A: Oh, okay. Well, he has rolled a three, so he is attempting to monologue. [00:34:42] Speaker B: Just a quick punch to the face. [00:34:46] Speaker A: Can you possibly. But how are you gonna knock him out? He's strapped like a turtle shell. That's a tough hit. [00:34:51] Speaker C: I'm gonna reach around and give him. [00:34:54] Speaker A: All I heard was give him a reach around. [00:34:56] Speaker F: Yeah, that's what I heard, too. You gonna give him a reach around. [00:34:59] Speaker C: Reach around and buffalo pinch. [00:35:01] Speaker A: A buffalo pinch. Okay. [00:35:03] Speaker F: Reach around is always me. [00:35:04] Speaker A: I feel like that's just our standard 1D4. Does your 1D4 beat his 1D4? [00:35:11] Speaker C: Well, what did his 1D4 get? [00:35:13] Speaker A: A 3. [00:35:14] Speaker C: I got a 4. [00:35:16] Speaker A: Rightly so. Your backpack, dwarf, is now muted. [00:35:22] Speaker C: Yes, and I'm telling everybody, all the towns people that are starting to get closer, to turn around and disperse and to let us deal with the situation. And it will be over shortly. So go back to what you were doing, or your home or wherever you want to go. Just don't be here. [00:35:43] Speaker A: Very well. [00:35:44] Speaker B: Very well. [00:35:45] Speaker H: Quartermaster, I have a question. Quartermaster. [00:35:48] Speaker C: No questions. Go. [00:35:50] Speaker H: Will there be an execution? You said we should go do stuff, but without the execution and the place in Pope Plaza, you know. [00:35:59] Speaker C: Well, should we execute you? [00:36:03] Speaker A: Okay, can you roll an intimidation. As you wield Bergen's blade, the Blade of the City, There seems to be no talk of resurrecting the daily execution. [00:36:16] Speaker C: Yeah, well, if he wants one, you know, we can make it happen just for him. That one is a nat 20, so 23. [00:36:27] Speaker A: Oh, nat 20. Okay. Well, then can you describe what happens to this guy that makes him flee? [00:36:35] Speaker C: I'm just gonna kind of yell at him. Do you want us to execute you then, rook? [00:36:42] Speaker A: And you exclaim that? And the crowd now flees. And behind you guys. There appears to be a procession coming down the road from Polb Plaza. Party, you are alerted to the sound of cartwheels and horses and the sound of A procession coming from Pol Plaza to your north. [00:37:13] Speaker C: Not on the north side. [00:37:14] Speaker E: So I'll take a look at what's coming. [00:37:19] Speaker B: I. I've ducked back into the shadow like I've found a shadowy little hide. [00:37:26] Speaker A: And Dr. Zozo, you said you would definitely be looking at the procession coming down the street. And certainly you are to Kaitoa and Rook. You're seeing the procession. There's no more bridge. You're left there and you look back at your party. But there is a large gap between you and them. Beleg, you're up on your feet and you're still a little soggy, but you're drying off in the morning light. And guys, it's probably been about five minutes now since Hadar has ceased. And since crowd control has occurred. The inspection of the mask. Who is coming down the street? Kaitoa. Who is coming down the street? [00:38:02] Speaker G: Zozo? [00:38:03] Speaker F: Uh, the wizard guild. Oh no. That's tomorrow. [00:38:09] Speaker B: Bad timing. [00:38:11] Speaker F: Unless they're early. I hope it's not those. [00:38:16] Speaker A: Find out next time on Dungeons and Blackers. [00:38:25] Speaker F: The other thing we forgot to look for is the. The constructs that you were. Yeah. Oh, the stolen construct parts. [00:38:37] Speaker A: Hold on to that thought. Yep. Because remember you hauled up the pontoon boat. [00:38:44] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:38:44] Speaker A: And you cracked open the clamshell interior where the rowers are. [00:38:49] Speaker F: Yeah. Oh, yeah, there's the pontoons. [00:38:52] Speaker A: But you did not open the pontoon. Which now, as you regarded party, is eerily able to contain a foddy sized person. [00:39:09] Speaker C: That's good. [00:39:12] Speaker D: Oh, that bug bell egg. I. I was gonna say that Belleg went off into like an alleyway where nobody could see him and summoned the Glaive that looked like an. And SE1 beat it against the ground. [00:39:28] Speaker A: Oh, wow. You know, so as the procession appears. It's true. We didn't check in with Bellic. You know, Zozo is clearly standing her ground and. And Rook is across the way and Kaito is clearly looking at who's coming. You could slink away. Steve has also done that. [00:39:45] Speaker D: That was the. Yeah. Ever since the. Yeah. He was just fucking pissed off. Didn't want anybody to see he was pissed off. [00:39:53] Speaker A: When you think of the Glaive of Anansiwa that represents that. Are you thinking of a summoned weapon that you're gonna zoom? [00:40:02] Speaker D: Yeah, It's a part of my blade pact. [00:40:05] Speaker A: And you're gonna summon this thing into the material plane and give it shape and form and then smash it. [00:40:12] Speaker D: Yeah. Fucking doesn't like to be embarrassed like that. [00:40:18] Speaker A: And at this moment, you see the summons Glaive and dash it right against the corner of the entrance way to one of these little alleyways. Against the corner and it shatters. And simultaneously, your tattoo is a shattered glaive blade. And you feel as if you made may have started to renegotiate your pact. Having a warlock in the group is so dramatic. [00:40:57] Speaker B: God. [00:41:01] Speaker A: And that is where we will have to leave you. Until the next time on Dungeons and Blackguards. [00:41:42] Speaker B: Sa. [00:42:10] Speaker D: I betrayed my alignment a little bit last session. [00:42:13] Speaker A: Oh. [00:42:16] Speaker D: I am chaotic neutral. And last session I was just chaotic stupid. [00:42:23] Speaker A: We love that alignment. [00:42:28] Speaker B: I think we've all been chaotic stupid from time to time. [00:42:34] Speaker C: Oh, it's happened. [00:42:38] Speaker F: I love that everyone got splashed with pink entrails.
